We accept Cash, Card or LOCAL checks with proper; a Convenience fee of 3.8% applies to all card transactions (ALL DEBIT cards will be processed as "CREDIT"). Please bring your own bags, boxes and packing material for your purchases, due to space constraints, entry will be limited. Limited assistance available to load your purchases, so it is recommended to bring help for any larger items. Some Larger Items may need to be picked up after hours or at the end of the sale. Not responsible for accidents. You enter at your own risk. All sales final. All items sold as is, where is; no refunds. Due to the close quarters, we respectfully request no children or pets. The Blue Rooster is honored to handle the liquidation of the curated collection of the Iconic 5-Points Carlisle Gallery on the behalf of the estate of Theresa Anne Carlisle (1960–2026) of Huntsville, Alabama.
Over her lifetime, Theresa amassed an extraordinary collection of fine art, viewed through the dual lens of a passionate collector and as the steward of Carlisle Gallery—originally founded by her late husband, Kirk Carlisle. After closing her own “Marie’s Hallmark” Gift Shop, Theresa took over management of the gallery, expertly coordinating the sale and framing of thousands of artworks over the decades.
She shared her personal light and so much art with the world. We are proud to present this offering from her estate. Beyond her keen eye for curation, Theresa was celebrated for her devotion to local creators, transforming Carlisle Gallery into a welcoming community destination where artists found advocacy, and visitors always found a warm cup of coffee and wonderful conversation.
The Gallery has been a fixture for 30 plus years in the community. Antique and Fine Art... Traditional, Impressionist, Classic Studies, Modern, Oils, Watercolors, Landscapes, Botanicals, Portraits, Cityscapes, Historic Huntsville... some framed & some ready to be framed' ready-made Frames of all sizes; "New Old Stock" Hallmark and decor items, limited edition collector prints, etchings, serigraphs, Bronzes, Antique Furniture, lamps, Architectural Elements, Art Glass, Porcelain, Books, and all kinds of holiday home decor- Christmas, Halloween, Easter... Way too much to list, but the pictures give you a good idea of what can be found.
During this event week, All Gallery Items are 50% off original prices. Select items have tags marked with a Color or "NFD" will not be discounted at this time unless otherwise marked.
Regular Gallery Hours are 10am to 5pm Tuesday thru Saturday
For your safety, PLEASE ask for assistance to get paintings off the walls.
Please watch your step, uneven floors and narrow steps can be obscured in a busy shop- Enter at your own risk, everything is "as-is, where-is" No Refunds, all sales are Final.
