Listed below are some things that we are still doing. You are not required to wear a mask, but you are required to keep a distance between other people. If you choose to wear one, we do appreciate it. There has been another out break of this horrible disease and I want you to be here to enjoy Life with your family. So let’s be adults and do what we need to do to be safe.
2. We do not require you to wear gloves, but if you feel safer you are welcome to;
3. We will have sanitizer throughout the house for you to use.
4. Numbers will be left at front door on a table for you to use to enter the home. You will line up at the front door at 8:30 in the order of your number and the doors will open at 9:00 a.m. Each person must have a number. If you are not in line by 8:30 when I call numbers you will have to go to the back of the line. There will be no numbers on second day.
5. Prices are marked on the items, and the Clerk will be happy to mark your items SOLD and write your invoice up. The Clerk will be in the room or standing close by.
. When you are ready, the Clerk will write an Invoice up for you to bring If it is for a large item, tell her what item you want and they will mark your item sold with your last name and write it up for you. You will not be allowed to mark your own items sold. We feel that is one less item you will have to touch. Prices are marked on items and that is the price. We feel that we have studied, cleaned items and priced them fairly, so don’t ask the Clerk if we will take less. This is not a YARD SALE! Also do not be making comments that items are to high or to low. That makes customers feel uneasy. If you think they are to high, then don’t buy them and put the item back where it was. If you have a question, please ask Betty Whatley. (owner) and I will be happy to answer your question.
Please bring someone to help you load, because we do not have anyone to load items. We do have someone to help you load small items, but we expect you to tip him, because he does not get paid. Bring the appropriate tools to take washer and dryer loose and refrigerator and equipment like this.
6. We ARE NOT responsible for any accidents nor are the owners. You enter at your own risk. “Step Downs and Step UPS” will be marked so you will know to take your time.
7. We do have a few bags, but we recommend that you bring your own boxes and bags. When those run out (which they usually do the first hour), then we don’t have anymore.
8. We refuse the right to refuse sale of items to any customer at any time.
9. We will be taking bids on items 100.00 or more on the first day. They can be found on the table where you place your items. You have to bid at least 40 + 1.00 over the marked price. We will call you at 6:00 p.m. if you won the bid.
10. We Do Not do 50% the second day. We do only 40%, 50% if a 3 day sale. No Discount on Jewelry, either day.
11. Due to the large amount of items, value of them, we will have someone in regular clothing watching so be careful before you steal, because you will be arrested. Cameras are also in the home.
12. Do Not Block Anyone’s Drive way or you will be asked to move.

We are more than honored to be asked to do this sale for the family. I have known the man of the house for many years. One of the finest people I know. He worked for Durr Surgical for many years and has since passed away. His wife has moved to Assistant Living. His daughter and son has asked me to conduct this sale and me and my staff are more than honored to do it.
There are so many great items in this home that I know you will appreciate each of them. They both loved to collect things from all over the world and loved to attend auctions. She was very talented and made several handmade items.
Coming up to the front door is a Spring flag flying on the side, a beautiful Spring wreath welcomes you in, a wood sign with a owl is hanging and on the side is a beautiful large ceramic vase with 2 other flower pots. By the front door is a fountain with a small girl and boy.
In the living room is: A beautiful Lazy Boy couch with beige background with lovely colors and has a touch of royal blue and a touch of burgundy, excellent condition, gorgeous matching end tables with drawer and door on bottom of both, matching mahogany coffee table with bottom shelf, walnut oak drop leaf table with 2 beautiful upholestered chairs, tall slender cabinet with 2 doors, a handmade black wood TV cabinet with drawers on the bottom with TV, C.D’s, C.D. Player, VCR tapes, a antique table with beautiful carvings and marble top. Has several stained glass pieces in window.
In dining room is: A oak oval dining table with 6 Windsor like chairs, beautiful base, has extra leaf, a matching China cabinet with glass doors with design, drawers and doors on bottom, black sofa table, has beautiful rug under table, plant stand.
In the breakfast room is: A walnut table with 2 upholstered chairs with rollers, 2 large round bar stools upholstered in same fabric as chairs, a antique Hoosier cabinet restored with metal pull out tray (must see to believe the excellent shape it is in), a yellow straight chair.
Kitchen has: 2 sets of China, one solid white by Collins Co., pattern, and the other one with bright colors by Pfaltzgriaff, Tuscan Rooster, lots of cups, glasses, bowls, Corning ware, cast iron, glass bowls, platters, stainless steel tableware, wood bowl, pot holders, dish towels, kitchen utensils, crock pot, cake pans, cookie sheets, microwave, set of knives, coasters, coffee pots, copper bowls, copper pitcher, glass pitcher, green canister set from the 60’s, butcher blocks. Hanging in the kitchen window is a beautiful stain glass rooster.
Glassed In Sunroom is: A red striped sofa chair, that rocks, rounded top trunk, another straight chair, end table with design, top lets up, hand-painted in white oak table, large ceramic rooster, TV on a stand, sisal rug, 2 tall oak bookcases with lots of shelves, a set of 3 white bookcases with lots of shelves, shredder.
The master bedroom: One cast iron king size bed with mattress and box springs, 2 dark matching end tables with metal at the bottom, a antique tall oak chest restored, a handmade oak entertainment center with drawers and doors, inside sits a flat screen TV, black wood trunk, antique armoire with hanging clothes rod, has a gorgeous oval mirror in door. Off the master bedroom is a walk-in closet with clothes, shoes, purses, luggage, lots of stain glass figurines.
Master Bathroom has candles, lots of pictures, towels, hair blower, thrash can, lamp on sink, floor bath rugs.
As you come up the beautiful stairs, you will come to a bath that has towels, pictures, rugs, then to the left is a den/sitting room that holds more bookcases, a brown beautiful sleeper sofa, black metal trunk, 2 navy blue club chairs with ottomans, excellent condition, and between the chair is a mahogany table with a beautiful lamp. A huge amount of books are up stairs in the bookcases, collectible head wall hangings, red hat figurines, pottery, games.
One bedroom upstairs is a white headboard white twin bed with mattress and box springs, has beautiful handmade quilt for spread with dust ruffle, a antique white dresser with mirror, matching bench with gorgeous fabric, 2 end tables, antique white armoire with hanging bar, that is holding a child’s white handmade Christening gown and bonnet, in the other bedroom upstairs is a beautiful maple Queen size bed with mattress and box springs included, the bed also has a quilt and dust ruffle, it has 2 end tables with lamps, has a oak spindle bench with cushion, has a tall maple chest with lots of drawers.
In the laundry room sits a dryer and washer that is like new. The washer is a Maytag and a Whirlpool Dryer. It has a tall white storage cabinet and wicker hamper.
Outside on the covered patio is: A black metal round table with 4 chairs, black metal tea cart, 2 wicker rockers with cushions, lounger, gas heater, pots, plastic dishes on table with glasses, place mats, napkins, center piece, hanging wind chimes, pottery heads, duck vane, in yard are flower pots, shepherd hooks, bird bath, other accessories.
There are a lot of accessories such as floral arrangements, pottery, crystal, throws, throw pillows, beautiful lamps, statues, brass items, baskets, mirrors, lots of great art, framed, signed and canvas. There will also be jewelry, sterling and stones. Jewelry will not be discounted either day
In the garage is lots and lots of flags for different seasons, tools, tool boxes, screws, nails, wreaths, stuffed animals, refrigerator, yard tools such as rakes, shovels, etc., coolers, antique farm tools, Christmas items, wreaths, decorations, Christmas houses, fishing reels, knives, pictures, stain glass, electrical items, plumbing items, painting items, toys, train set. Too much to mention!
The house is also for sale. It is a beautiful 3 bedroom brick home with carpet, wood floors, large master bedroom with large walk-in closet, huge master bathroom with tub and shower, beautiful kitchen with granite counters, refrigerator, great electric stove with air cooker built in, lots of beautiful oak cabinets, pantry, glassed in sun room, outdoor covered patio, beautiful yard with plants that over looks a gorgeous lake. It has a large sitting room upstairs with a bath, 2 bedrooms with lots of windows, and closets galore through out the house. There is a large laundry room with lots of cabinets. From there you go out to a double car garage with a storage room. It is close to East Chase Shopping Center, hospitals and Churches and also close to the interstate. There will be cards available with the realtors name to show you the house if you would like.
