And before we tell you about anything else, we need to talk about the sarees.

They are absolutely gorgeous.

There are approximately 65 sarees in this collection, and they are among the stars of the sale.

The Dastgir collection includes authenticated art, Arabic and Islamic calligraphy, manuscript and miniature works, a magnificent large calligraphy textile panel, South Asian and Asian figural pieces, landscapes and traditional framed works.

You’ll find older leather and cloth-bound books, art volumes, vintage reference works, bound National Geographic collections, a vintage Times Atlas of the World, David Roberts’ Egypt, The Illustrated Qur’an, The Life of Mohammad, Islam: Art and Architecture and many more.

Among the most remarkable pieces is an ornately bound, centuries-old illustrated volume containing lithographs.

There is also a collection of patterned area rugs and runners waiting to be discovered.

We have deliberately kept much of the everyday clothing estate-sale priced, because we’d rather see you leave carrying an armful than staring at a rack of boutique prices.

Please bring help and an appropriate vehicle for furniture and large purchases. Busy Bees cannot guarantee loading assistance. Purchased chandeliers or installed fixtures are the buyer’s responsibility to remove safely and appropriately.

Please respect the neighborhood. Do not block driveways, mailboxes or roadway access, and follow all posted parking instructions. Children must remain supervised.

Select artwork, books and other valuable pieces may be secured and shown with assistance from a Busy Bees team member.
