We are committed to providing a professional, transparent, and well-organized auction
experience for both buyers and sellers. Please review the following Terms & Conditions carefully
prior to bidding.
By placing a bid, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms
& Conditions.

Important Buyer Information
By participating in our auctions, buyers agree to the following:
● All sales are final.
● All items are offered AS-IS, WHERE-IS.
● Winning bids constitute a binding agreement to purchase.
● Payment will be processed automatically using the default payment method on file.
● Buyers are responsible for reviewing all photographs, descriptions, and measurements
prior to bidding.
● Purchased items must be retrieved during the scheduled pickup window unless
alternative arrangements have been approved in advance.
● Items not retrieved by the stated deadline may be deemed abandoned and resold or
donated without refund.
● Shipping charges include postage, packing materials, labor, insurance, and handling
costs.

Buyers are responsible for arranging appropriate transportation, labor assistance, and packing
materials for pickup

Participation & Buyer Responsibilities
CTBids storefronts are independently owned and operated. Policies may vary by location, and
buyers are responsible for reviewing the terms associated with each individual sale.
By placing a bid, you agree to:
● complete payment for all winning purchases
● comply with all payment and pickup deadlines
● arrange pickup, shipping, or delivery in a timely manner (before the start of the
scheduled pickup day)
● communicate promptly regarding any changes to your order fulfillment method
Failure to comply with these terms may result in suspension or revocation of bidding privileges
across the CTBids platform.
Auction pickup locations vary by sale and are generally located within the greater Tucson
metropolitan area. Approximate pickup locations are listed within each auction. Exact pickup
addresses and scheduling instructions are provided to winning bidders following auction close.
Registration & Payment Authorization
To participate in bidding, users must maintain:
● an active CTBids account
● valid contact information
● a current payment method on file
By storing a payment method within your account, you authorize Caring Transitions of Southern
Arizona to charge the card on file for winning bids and all associated charges related to your
purchase.
If payment cannot be successfully processed, Caring Transitions of Southern Arizona reserves
the right to:
● cancel purchases
● resell unpaid items
● suspend bidding privileges
● pursue lawful collection remedies when necessary

Auction Closing Process
All auctions utilize a soft-close format.
If a bid is placed during the final moments of a lot closing, additional time may be added to allow
competing bidders an opportunity to respond. This process is designed to promote fair and
competitive bidding.
In the event of technical interruptions, server issues, or circumstances that interfere with the
integrity of the auction process, Caring Transitions of Southern Arizona reserves the right to
extend, postpone, or reschedule any auction or lot closing.
Item Descriptions & Condition
We make every reasonable effort to accurately photograph and describe all items offered for
sale. Photographs are considered part of the item description and should be carefully reviewed
prior to bidding.
Please note:
● vintage, antique, and previously owned items will often display signs of age and use
● not all imperfections may be specifically noted
● dimensions and measurements are approximate unless otherwise stated
● items not specifically described as tested should be assumed untested
No guarantees are made regarding:
● functionality
● authenticity
● provenance
● completeness
● manufacturer specifications
● repair history
If an accessory, component, or item is not shown in photographs or specifically referenced in the
listing description, it should not be assumed to be included.
Buyers are encouraged to conduct independent research and request clarification prior to
bidding.
AS-IS Policy
All property is sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.
All sales are final.

Due to the nature of estate and secondary-market goods, refunds, returns, exchanges, or
cancellations are not permitted except where expressly required by law or covered through
optional third-party return protection.
Certain eligible items may qualify for optional “Make It Returnable” coverage through Seel at the
time of bidding. Any claims or returns associated with that coverage are administered
exclusively through Seel according to their policies and procedures.
We are located in the southwest desert, where it is not uncommon to find black widow spiders,
scorpions, and other critters. Always check your purchases for any hitchhikers!
Jewelry & Gemstones
Jewelry descriptions are provided to the best of our knowledge and based upon visible markings
and limited testing methods when applicable. Jewelry has not been independently appraised
unless specifically noted within the listing.
Precious metals are often described as marked and not acid tested unless noted otherwise.
Gemstone identifications are educated approximations only and are not guaranteed.
Gemstones are tested with a Presidium Gem Tester, which does not differentiate between
natural and synthetic colored gemstones. Gem types are only suggestions based on a
Presidium tester gauge, as it covers such a wide range of gems with overlapping data.
Fine Art
Artwork is offered without guarantees of authenticity, attribution, provenance, or artist
identification unless expressly stated otherwise with a certificate of authenticity provided by the
client.
Clocks, Watches & Mechanical Devices
The operating condition of clocks, watches, electronics, and mechanical devices is not
guaranteed unless specifically noted as tested and functional.
Payment Terms
Winning bidders will have their default payment method automatically charged following auction
close.
An invoice/receipt will be sent to the email address on file following auction close.
Invoices and receipts may also be accessed through your CTBids account under:
My Account → Invoices/Receipts

Items that remain unpaid by 8:00 AM on the scheduled pickup day may be deemed abandoned
and resold without further notice.
Accounts with unresolved balances will be suspended from future participation.
Tax-Exempt Purchases
All transactions with out-of-state buyers requesting shipping to an out-of-state address are
tax-exempt in Arizona. However, our system automatically applies taxes to each transaction
when invoices are generated. If you are an out-of-state buyer and will require your items to be
shipped consistently, please upload this document to your account so we can permanently mark
it as tax-exempt.
All Arizona-based resellers and tax-exempt buyers are required to provide a copy of AZ Form
5000 or AZ Form 5000A (whichever applies to you) prior to the end of the sale. The purpose is
to document and establish a basis for state and city tax deductions or exemptions. Pursuant to
A.R.S. § 42-5009, we must have a copy of AZ Form 5000 or 5000A on file for you (not your
business license). You MUST upload this information to your Ctbids account and notify us via
email when you have done so before the end of the sale. We cannot edit invoices after they
have been paid. This will allow adjustment of your invoice for the removal of sales tax before
payment is collected. If all future purchases are tax-exempt, we can set up your profile to always
remove the tax. Otherwise, this is done on a per-purchase basis & you are required to notify us
before the sale ends that your purchase is tax-exempt.
Item Receipt Method
When placing a bid, the system will automatically prompt bidders to select an ‘Item Receipt
Method’:
● ‘Pickup’ - Local pickup in Tucson or surrounding areas. The general pickup location is
listed in both the title of the sale and the ‘Pickup Details’ section of the auction listing.
● ‘Shipping’ - In-house packing and shipping service available at the buyer’s expense. See
detailed terms below.
● ‘Delivery’ - Affordable local delivery service available at the buyer’s expense. See
detailed terms below.
If, for any reason, your ‘Item Receipt Method’ changes between the time you placed your bid
and the scheduled pickup day, you MUST notify us via email or phone before the scheduled
pickup day indicated on your invoice ends. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you
will be receiving your items via the selected ‘Item Receipt Method’.

Pickup Scheduling & Procedures
Following the auction close, winning bidders will receive communication through Shipping Saint
to:
● confirm their item receipt method
● schedule pickup appointments
Pickup appointments are scheduled in timed intervals to ensure an orderly and efficient
experience for all buyers.
If another individual will retrieve items on your behalf, advance notice, including their name and
contact information, is required.
Buyers are responsible for:
● bringing adequate packing materials for safe transport
● arranging sufficient loading assistance
● ensuring appropriate transportation capacity
Staff assistance with loading may be limited or unavailable.
Prior to departing the pickup location, buyers (or appointed pickup person) are responsible for
verifying:
● all purchased items have been received
● all purchased items are in the expected condition
● item quantities are correct
Any concerns regarding condition or missing items must be addressed onsite. Once items have
left the premises, claims regarding missing items or condition discrepancies may not be
accommodated.
Missed Pickup & Abandoned Property
Items must be retrieved during the scheduled pickup window unless alternate arrangements
have been approved in advance.
Late pickup accommodations are limited and offered solely at our discretion based upon
staffing, scheduling, and storage availability. Please reach out in advance if you cannot make it
to the scheduled pick-up day.
Approved late pickups may incur storage and handling fees.

Items not retrieved within the designated timeframe, and without approved arrangements, may
be deemed abandoned and subject to resale, donation, or disposal without refund.
Delivery Services
Local delivery is available at the buyer’s expense. Please select ‘delivery’ as your Item Receipt
Method when placing your bid if you wish to have your items delivered.
A quote can be generated in advance if desired. Please reach out to
tucson@caringtransitions.com with the item(s) and delivery address.
Delivery fees:
● $75.00 within 10 miles of the sale location for one item
● $5.00 for each additional mile
● $10.00 for each additional item
● $10.00 per flight of stairs
Oversized or complex installations may require additional charges.
Items will be placed in the home if space is made available. We cannot be responsible for
furniture that does not fit into the house or the desired space. Old furniture may be moved
and/or removed for an additional fee.
Delivery charges must be paid by 8:00 AM on the scheduled pick up day.
Packing & Shipping Services
Packing and shipping are offered in-house as a convenience service and are available at the
buyer’s expense. If you would like to have your purchases shipped, please select the "Shipping"
option as your ‘Item Receipt Method’ when placing a bid.
All shipping communication, including shipping confirmation, invoicing, and shipping updates, is
via Shipping Saint.
Packing & Shipping charges include:
● carrier postage (FedEx, UPS, USPS, White Glove)
● packing materials
● labor
● insurance
● specialty handling fees (if applicable)
Shipping costs are calculated only after items have been packed, measured, and weighed. We
cannot provide a shipping estimate in advance.

Please note that shipping costs may exceed the purchase price of an item, particularly for
fragile, oversized, or multi-piece lots. Bid accordingly.
Entire lots must be shipped together. Partial lot shipping is not available.
Shipment processing timelines vary depending on item volume and complexity. We strive to
have invoices sent within 2-4 weeks of the auction pick up day. If you have not received an
updated invoice (via Shipping Saint) within three weeks of the auction pick up date, please
contact us via email at tucson@caringtransitions.com
Shipping charges are determined by the shipping carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, or White Glove)
and are added to the packing fees. By default, we will select the carrier with the least expensive
label. If you have a carrier preference, you MUST let us know your preferred carrier within 24
hours of the auction ending. Insurance above the amount provided by the shipper, equal to the
invoice amount, will be added to the shipping costs.
Packing fees are determined by materials used, pack time, lot size, and more, starting at a
minimum of $10 per invoice. A breakdown of your packing fee will be included on your Shipping
Saint invoice. Additional charges are assessed for special shipping requests, such as packing
method, expediting, and more, starting at a minimum of $20.
For invoices exceeding $300, a signature will be required upon delivery. If you would like the
signature requirement removed, a photo of a valid ID with the name and address associated
with the Ctbids account will need to be emailed to tucson@caringtransitions.com.
We ship via Pak Mail for large, fragile, or unusual-shaped items that we cannot pack in-house. A
handling and transport fee of $70 will be invoiced via CTBids for items sent to PakMail for
shipping. This fee is separate from the PakMail packing and shipping fee. PakMail will contact
you with their shipping cost.
The “Billing To” address from your invoice is used for all your shipping purchases. All packages
will be shipped to this address unless you change the address on your account profile AND
email us regarding this change. You will be prompted by Shipping Saint to confirm your shipping
address before making payment for packing/shipping.
Shipping Payment Requirements
Shipping invoices are issued separately through Shipping Saint.
Buyers are responsible for timely payment of all shipping-related charges.
Unpaid shipping invoices remaining outstanding beyond seven (7) days may result in the
associated items being deemed abandoned without refund.
Tracking information will be provided via email/text once the shipment has been sent.

Auction Rights & Limitation of Liability
Caring Transitions of Southern Arizona reserves the right to:
● withdraw items
● postpone or cancel auctions
● reject bids
● correct cataloging errors
● refuse service when necessary
All listings are subject to errors, omissions, prior sale, withdrawal, and availability.
Caring Transitions of Southern Arizona shall not be held liable for:
● technical interruptions
● bidding platform outages
● listing inaccuracies
● missed bids
● scheduling conflicts
● consequential or incidental damages arising from auction participation

Item Preview Opportunities
Limited preview appointments may be available for select items based on accessibility and staff
availability.
Preview requests should be submitted as early as possible and must include:
● item SKU
● item title
● auction name
