Altadena Memorial Weekend Collector's Sale

Memorial weekend sale. Lots of art. Lots of books.  Lots of vintage audio equipment. Enjoy the beautiful weather and find a treasure.

First the art. We have a fantastic new collection of art and travel posters. There are TWO fresh estates represented in a big way. Lots of vintage exhibition posters. There are quite a number of Rock posters.

There is a large collection of paintings of all sorts. 19th century. Modern. Abstract. Figural. Landscapes. Still lifes. There is some outsider art. This is great stuff in good condition. Oils of all sizes. From tiny to huge. Mainly modern art but a good bit of traditional as well.There are tons of watercolors from various artist's estates. There are lots of drawings. Again, mostly from artist's estates. There are prints of all types. Etchings, serigraphs, lithographs and posters from the 19th century on. 

There is a wonderful collection of African art. Masks, figures, bowls, etc.

There is a nice collection of sculpture and assemblage. Interesting stuff.

There will be a table of art priced from $1 to $20. Oil paintings, watercolors, prints, posters and tons of drawings. 

As noted above, there is a fresh collection of really wonderful posters.

There are several sets of Keith Haring skateboard deck sets. Made by the Skateroom.

There will be a couple tables of books. Mostly art books but a good bit of literature as well. Bring some boxes. The books are priced to move.

The stereo equipment is varied. Lots of speakers. A mint Fisher 500C tube reciever. A Melton integrated tube amplifier. 3 James Audio HT speakers. A McIntosh MR78 tuner. Some serious Monster power conditioning equipment. A couple vintage solid state recievers. Some cabling. All priced to move. A turntable or 2. There is a mint pair of Bose 901 speakers with tulip stands. They have sat in their original boxes for decades. The equalizer is included and also mint.

There are cds and records and dvds  for sale as well.
