Late Summer Altadena 3 day Sale Art, Vintage Audio, Books

This is the final sale of the summer. It runs for 3 days. Thursday through Saturday. We are offering art, books, some furniture and a large collection of vintage audio.

The art consists of

1. Works on paper from a New York estate

2. Various works from California estates. There are numerous oil paintings, watercolors, photos, posters, collage, sculpture, assemblage and some ceramic work. There will be a table of drawings and watercolors priced from $5 ea. There are quite a few oil paintings priced from $5 up as well. This is good art from mostly listed artists. Most of the art is in excellent condition. It is ready to go. There is something for everybody.

There are numerous works at a higher but still very reasonable price point. Look at the posted photos.

The art goes from 19th century to contemporary. There is western art, Latin art, abstract, figural, WPA era, mid century modernand a good bit of Asian.

The audio equipment consists mainly of speakers. There is a pair of mint Bose 901 V speakers. They include the equalizer, the original boxes, the mid century modern Tulip stands and a pair of long, very high end speaker cables.There is a pair of Altec 802 8g compression drivers with altec 511b horns. Both drivers measure well over 7 on the ohm meter. These are the ones with alnico magnets. Check the photos.

There is a pair of KRK 9000 studio monitors. There is a pair of KRK 6000 monitors. These are the old ones with the gold tweeters. There is a pair of AR 3 speakers in very good condition. There are 3 James Audio 8" 2 way home theater speakers. There are several other sets of miscalleneous speakers. There is a Luxman cd player. There is a rare and wonderful Bedini pre amp. There is a Carver 250 wpc power amp. There are several pairs of cables. There are 2 Proj-ect streamers. This stuff is all in great condition. Much of it was my father's.

There are quite a few boxes of art books. There is a box or 3 of paper back novels. Much of it sci fi. There is a collection of early x rated and naughty movie poster. Not the graphic XXX stuff. These are all from one estate.
