ARTIST PHYLLIS BAKER HAMMOND was an internationally acclaimed sculptor, artist, designer, and educator. She grew up in a northern suburb of Boston and attended drawing classes at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. In her classroom were plaster reproductions of Roman sculptures of gods and goddesses. The sculptures made a deep impression on the young artist and, in her 20's she delved into the world of pottery and ceramics... She has had multiple exhibitions and installations on the east coast, most notably in East Hampton, New York. Most of her sculptures went with her surviving family members to Reno, Nevada... Phyllis did leave us some of her ceramic work, stoneware pottery, as well as a couple of smaller sculptures. Her love for art and spirit still resonates through this Canoga Park home! 

Sharon L. Weller was an accomplished interior designer with extensive experience in textile design and production of large clay and bronze sculptures. Her taste in decor, furniture and art, is evident in this small but lovely home.
