This desk set is a genuine Tiffany. The next picture will show the mark.Just in case, it reads "TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1090"The desk on which the Tiffany desk set has a lot of classical styling. There is a closer view of the bust a little later in the pictures. This dish set is also from Tiffany. The maker's mark is in the next photo. This is tricky to read, but it says, "TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 167?" To be fair, it could be "167" or "1671"; you be the judge. This is a Tiffany pen tray holder, marked on the reverse with "1755".In this case, the mark is easier to determine: "TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1755".This sale has two of these intricately carved chests, both with Asian-inspired scenes. Look carefully as the carvings are different on the chests. These are fine examples of this work. This painting is by Walter Farrington Moses. These are vintage standing lamps and are certainly worth a look. It is possible these are Handel lamps.Speaking of lamps, this table lamp will also start some conversations. Especially if it is a Handel lamp.I think this is a painting by Eugene Dunlap. The signature is in the bottom-right corner. For a change of pace, if you were looking for a Whirlpool refrigerator, here is the perfect specimen. There are three different items in this photo: the mirror, the Sèvres-style French clock, and the wall table. The lamp is certainly a Tiffany-style. Come see it up close and in greater detail. One of the many rugs is here, as well as the table. Here we have a bedframe and some of the bedding that goes with it.This chair is interesting and works well next to the lamp. This display cabinet can house all manner of collections. In this case, the collection is of pickle jars and biscuit containers. This is a rather large four-poster day bedframe. Full-size? That's what it seems to be.This painting is a fun one. I can't quite read the artist's signature in the lower-left corner, but surely you can...if you come to the sale. This landscape is by Edward Langley. It's a bit tricky to pick out but the signature is of "Alexander Helwig Wyant".This painting is by R. V. Goetz from 1949, according to the signature.;Here we have an American southwest landscape by F. M. Moore, or Frank Montague Moore.I see "R. Hilberg" in the signature but perhaps I'm reading it wrong. If you're wondering about this artist, the signature says, "John A. Conner".Here we have a carved bust made from Carrara marble.Remember earlier when I said there was a close-up view of the statue on top of the desk? Here it is.There are several items to note here: the globe, the two table lamps, and the bookshelf full of books in the background. Any one of those could make this sale worth it for you.The signature on the base says, "Remington". This photo shows a few of the framed art, along with several other decorative baskets, bowls, and platesYou'll want to take a look at this chandelier as it is a Muller Freres design. This is an overview of the living room, with all its contents. There is so much to describe...There are more paintings to explore, but for now let's look at some of the furniture and furnishings, like the rug, chair, lamp, side table, curtain, Bose Wave radio, and lingerie cabinet (although you can use it for anything). Here you have one of the intricately carved chests, a second chair, and another curtain set. This living room picture shows off several beautiful items: chairs, tables, rugs, a couple of paintings, and very decorative lamps. There's a fascinating history regarding how belaying pins ended up in modern theaters, but those in the picture are probably from a sailing ship. The chest is also interesting. And don't forget the rug underneath. Here is another view of the living room, including a sofa and chair set, four other chairs, and more. This painting is one of two by Achille Pinelli that we have in the sale. This smaller work has the following as a signature: "ANTOI", but the last letter could be an "L". That could make the name "ANTOL".The signature is a bit tricky to read, but I think Raffaele Zeloni could be the artist. This floor lamp is unusual because it is made with marble. As far as we can tell, the sale has only one of these chairs available. There is a resemblance here of this loveseat bench and the black chair seen earlier. I think they are a set. However, this chair has a twin in the sale, which you can see in the next photo. This is the mate to the chair in the previous picture. Clearly you want both of them. This sofa is part of the set that includes the two chairs seen earlier. Of course, you can also see the tall table, and the painting on the wall. Here you can see a matching pair of candelabras and a matching central clock piece. And then there are the pair of pitchers under the table, and the table itself. This is one of a pair of matching chairs with blue upholstery. Here is the other blue upholstered chair, the other half of the twin pair. This framed piece is signed by Frank McCarthy. Come see the piece without the light reflecting off it.While a corner of the dining table and chairs is blocking part of the view of this cabinet, you can see the style it would bring to your home. Here you have a close-up picture of the decorative plate seen in the middle of the cabinet just seen.I don't see a signature on the front, but come by the sale. The signature could be on the back. Are you an optometrist or ophthamologist? Maybe you could use the large eyeglasses for your office? Then again, maybe your taste runs more to lighthouses and anchors.I like the bow tie on this gentleman's neck. Some days I think we should go back to a pitcher and wash basin. Agree or disagree, this combination is an excellent example of those bygone days. This painting claims "P. Buchanan" and give the date "1879". It could be "In Roseheath Woods". The middle "h" is hard to read. This collection is made up of Lismore pattern Waterford crystal stemware. While there is one Waterford crystal piece off to the right, and maybe some on the shelf above, the red pieces are simply pretty. This table holds several tools of the kitchen and entertaining fields. Here is a second picture of some of the kitchen tools, and the lamp above the sink.As with many of our sales, there is a collection of various kitchen implements: bowls, plates, serving dishes, and so on. Also, notice the Tiffany-style floor lamp in the background. Here you have a detailed look at one of the many rugs available in the sale. There is a modest amount of patio furniture, including this glass-topped table with four matching chairs. If you need a small grill, we have that, too. Outdoor pots for planting trees or other vegetation are often quite popular. You'll want to get here early for these. The fence and lighting makes this a bit challenging, but we have a pair of garden benches and another pedestal plant pot. This is a better picture of the bench and the pedestal pot.Back inside again you can see this sofa and chair combination, paired with a floor lamp with a Tiffany-style shade. The background shows a painting on the wall and another floor lamp.Yes, here are some clothes and shoes in the sale. Hidden underneath the various household products is a washer and dryer set that could be yours. Not previously shown in the sale is this chandelier. This hung above the kitchen sink in a previous picture, but here is a better look at it.This lamp seems to match the more cylindrical lamp seen in the previous picture. While also red, this hanging lamp does not match the others just seen, but as a stand-alone piece, it's great.I am fairly certain this is an alabaster statuette. And likewise for this statue; I think it is alabaster. I'm open for corrections. Now we start looking at the garage, including this set of stained glass windows hiding behind what looks like a bedframe (I could be wrong here, too.)There are so many items in the garage (which opens at 1 PM on Thursday) it is hard to list everything. Here is another view of the garage. Again, there are lots and lots of items here to explore. In case you needed any other proof, this is another view of the garage. It does look somewhat organized in that there are walkways.Hanging in the garage is this chandelier with blue accents. If you thought there was a lot of artwork in the house, there is even more in the garage. From a different angle, you can see more of the garage and its contents. It is tricky to see everything in a photo like this. You'll just have to come to the sale.It does seem to be a never-ending collection of frames, framed artwork, and other, related items. Finally, one more picture from the garage. There are tools, powered and not.
