Description & Details
Our May 4th auction includes a curated offering from the estate of Jackie Wickser, a Los Angeles-based artist and fashion professor. The first several lots reflect a cultivated appreciation for art and aesthetics— striking a balance between fine art, decorative objects, and informed, scholarly taste. From the bold, urban screenprints of Ryan Graeff’s Retribution Press zines to the brooding landscapes of 19th-century masters like William Keith and Stephen Seymour Thomas, this collection thoughtfully bridges old-world beauty with contemporary edge.
Beyond this collection, the auction includes a wide range of estate property: mid-century modern chairs, a diamond necklace, religious and cultural antiquities, Lionel and American Flyer toy trains, signed 20th-century lithographs, and first edition books including Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs and The Naked and the Dead by Norman Mailer. Additional highlights include Hollywood ephemera, antique prints, decorative arts, and vintage home furnishings.
Don’t miss the opportunity to explore and bid on pieces from this truly distinctive and curated studio collection. Auction lots begin closing Sunday, May 4th at 4pm Pacific Time.
