ITEMS ARE SOLD IRL (NO ONLINE SALES) ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS. SOME ITEMS IN PHOTOS AND VIDEOS MAY HAVE ALREADY SOLD WHEN YOU ARRIVE.
Our subscribers receive the address at via email invitation, an hour before we reveal it to the public. If you subscribe after Friday at 6:59am and after you will miss the 7am address reveal email. Please check your spam folder.
The address is revealed to the public via estatesales.net and our IG feed at 8:00am on Friday, November 7th. Head to the main page of our website to become a subscriber: www.handledestatesales.com.
This is for enthusiastic buyers who wish to be among the first inside. Otherwise come whenever to get a ticket.
In an attempt to keep the opening of the sale more orderly, we have implemented a new ticketing system for shoppers.
If you don't care about being among the first inside, you can come anytime and grab a ticket. Tickets don't "sell out" and they are free. It's just a means of peacefully organizing the line.
Here’s how it works…
We will be outside when the address is revealed via email invitation to our subscribers on day Friday at 7am. Saturday and Sunday at 8:00am. Head to the home page of our website to subscribe. Nonsubscribers have access to the address at 9am via our Instagram feed and estatesales.net. Shoppers who wish to be among the first inside may want to come to the home to get a numbered entry ticket as soon as the address is revealed, then go grab coffee. Tickets are distributed in numerical order starting with number one, are free and don't sell out.
Security begins lining people up / you line up airline-style in numerical ticket order starting at 8:30am for 9am opening on Friday. Saturday and Sunday lineup starts at 9:30am for 10am open. It takes some time to get people in order. We kindly ask for your patience as we get everyone in their proper place in the line. As long as you arrive before your ticket number is called to enter the sale, we will get you in your proper place in the line.
*You must be present when your number is called to enter the sale. If you arrive after your number is called to enter the sale, you’ll have to get in the back of the line.*
You will need a ticket to enter no matter what time you arrive.
If you don’t care about being among the first inside, come anytime between 9am and
2:30pm on Friday and 10am and 3:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Last entry is 2:30pm on Friday, 3:30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
THERE ARE NO PURSES, BAGS, BOXES, STROLLERS, PET OR BABY CARRIERS PERMITTED INSIDE,
Please inspect your treasures before you buy them. All sales are final - there are no refunds or exchanges. All purchases must be removed from the premises by 3pm each day unless otherwise arranged. Download the LUGG app to order a mover within an hour. In accordance with California law, we collect 9.75% sales tax unless a valid resale permit is presented. We take cash, card, Apple Pay.
Please read and obey parking signs, do not block driveways.
We start with 15 shoppers and add in more about five to ten at a time depending on how the crowd fans out. Smaller rooms will permit a limited number of shoppers. By entering the premises you acknowledge you are entering by your own accord and understand the risks involved and agree to hold Handled and homeowners harmless. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. NEITHER THE HOMER OWNER NOR HANDLED ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES ON THE PREMISES.
ITEMS ARE SOLD AS-IS, WHERE IS. PLEASE INSPECT, RESEARCH AND MEASURE PRIOR TO PURCHASE. ALL SALES ARE FINAL - NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES.
Buyers are responsible for removing their own purchases from the premises each day unless otherwise arranged with the owner of Handled. We are not responsible for items you purchase and forget to take with you. We cannot move or deliver furniture for you, not even to your car. For security purposes, there is a working video camera recording transactions at the sale.
