Description & Details

We are adding an extra day to the sale we had last weekend. There is still so much left, especially from the extensive book collection, which includes Heritage Press books and two bookcases of autographed books. DEALS ON ALL BOOKS! Bring a box to take them home!

Significant deals on everything except the following items, which will have only a slight discount:

Monumental 60x80 signed Ann Thornycroft painting

Herb Mignery signed bronze sculpture

Pair of 1970s marble and chrome side tables

2 MCM pendant lights

ADDITIONALLY, we are welcoming Joe Vintage into the driveway area on Saturday, where she’ll have two full tables of her eclectic 1950s–1980s collection. Expect a fun mix of mid-century décor, smalls, ceramics and pottery, housewares, knick knacks, lighting, kitchen and barware, and vintage office finds. Come find a great holiday gift!

Step into history with this estate sale from two prominent pioneers in their field, whose personal collection reflects sophistication and authentic mid-century style. Shirley Hufstedler founded the U.S. Department of Education with President Jimmy Carter and was the nation’s first Secretary of Education (1979–81) after a groundbreaking judicial career, including service on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her husband, Seth M. Hufstedler, built a distinguished career as a leader within the California legal community and argued cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.
