Ernst Wenck Berlin Bronze 1865- 1929 Wenk was born in 1865. He was a sculptor, and a student of the Applied Arts Museum. The artist studied at the Academy under Schaper, and trained in Paris and Rome. He was also a member of the Berlin Secession.

Al Alfred Jackson Still Life with pears and Glass 1940 - 2001 Al Alfred Jackson, was an African-American artist, who was born in the 1940’s. He studied art at the American Academy in Chicago, Illinois. For a time he was employed as a commercial artist and then painted mostly still life paintings. He was fascinated with water drops and South Western pottery. He would sit at his easel for hours at a time, painting and repainting a drop of moisture or the stem of a vegetable or fruit.
