Description & Details
The Junk & Disorderly Girls Present: The Grand Hyde Street Estate
An Online Auction of Rare Finds, Real Taste, and Room-Changing Pieces
Step inside a remarkable San Francisco estate — a home layered with global stories, design confidence, and the kind of style you can't fake. The couple behind this collection traveled well, cooked ambitiously, and curated every corner with intention.
This isn’t just an auction. It’s your chance to claim heirloom-quality furniture, museum-worthy art, and investment pieces that feel elevated without ever feeling unattainable. Whether you’re decorating your dream space or furnishing your first real one, this collection delivers.
Let’s Talk Taste
Think Stickley, Baker, and Nelson Matter — the kind of craftsmanship that holds up across generations. Add in French antiques, Pakistani and Persian rugs, and bookshelf décor with soul, and you're not just buying furniture — you're inheriting character.
Tired of furniture that flakes? This is your moment to level up.
Looking to refresh your space with Restoration Hardware energy — but with actual character and better prices? This is your sale.
The Kitchen Is a Mood
French copper cookware, baker’s racks, and fine linens set the stage for serious entertaining — or at least looking like you do. This couple didn’t just cook, they curated their culinary tools like art. Even the barware sparkles with purpose: Waterford, Steuben, and other icons of glassmaking that turn a negroni into a ritual.
Calling all chefs, aspiring gourmands, and design-forward entertainers: these kitchen and bar treasures aren’t just tools — they’re status symbols.
Art, But Make It Museum-Worthy
This isn’t just wall décor — it’s a conversation. A collection of gallery-grade pieces, original works, antique maps, and thoughtful compositions that invite pause. Whether you’re starting your collection or adding to a wall that already knows who it is, there’s something here with weight and presence.
And Then There’s the Fun Stuff
A 1960s/70s hand-embroidered Levi’s chambray shirt that could headline a gallery of its own
Vintage ski parkas with stories stitched into every seam
Books (lots of them), collectible posters, and one-of-a-kind ephemera for serious readers and culture collectors
Asian home décor, electronics, and a sofa sleeper that actually looks good
Writing desks, French armoires, planters, and that rattan + bamboo dining set that deserves its own champagne brunch
For the Designers. The Dreamers. The Treasure Hunters.
Whether you’re an interior designer, a design-lover with big taste, a Gen Z mover-and-shaker building your “forever space,” or someone who just knows the real thing when they see it — this auction is for you.
Over 400 curated lots. Each one full of story, soul, and second-life potential.
This is not just an estate auction — this is TJDG at full throttle.
