Hollywood Set Decorator Estate Sale

Welcome to the downsizing estate sale of Mr. Donald Remacle. We are a group of friends who are helping Don transition into a more suitable home. He traveled extensively throughout South America, Asia, Egypt and Europe. Now he is ready to open his home and share his treasure with you. Even share some of his entertainment items too. 

Don began his career as a Scenic artist at the Pasadena Playhouse, Don soon moved into television set decorating in the early 70’s working on The Sonny and Cher Show. His movie credits include My Favorite Year, Jumpin' Jack Flash, My Blue and Heaven and more. He continued in Television, creating the sets for Coach, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers,  Murder, She Wrote and more.  He was nominated for 3 Emmys.

There is an extensive book collection with over 600 books.  Framed artwork, Murano glass, Muller Freres Chandelier, Apothecary Cabinet, Ceramic Chinoiserie, 8 panel carved room divider. Blenko Vase, religious items, costumes, collector plates from Bradford Exchange, Antique cabinet from Santa Barbara St. Anthony’s Seminary. Peruvian and Mexican clay figurines, Dressers, art nouveau lamp, Mid Century brass shell lamps, original Kartell Ghost Chair, Chippendale dining room table and chairs. Collectible bottles, M Wendt Pottery Mt Saint Helens volcanic ash plates, bowls, rugs, art magazines. Cordon Bleu dishes. Antique Italian cabinets, Venetian wood dressers, antique desk, Antique marble top tables, horseshoe bamboo chair and so much more!

We do not have any records, cameras, or any silver/gold. 

*The sale is located in an apartment. A sign up sheet will be attached to the front gate at 6:30AM.  Then please line after 7:30 along Fountain and Olive. Please do not make your own list  

 Please note, the apartment is a little tight, so we will start with 10 people and work from there.  We appreciate you understanding. Thank you for being kind and respectful to all.
