Description & Details
We have a wonderful home here . The couple that lived here came to this home after living together in a 500 sq ft "alley house" for their first 12 years of marriage and this house for the next 25yrs.that felt like their castle. This is the house that rocks! The couple was very outgoing and hosted many parties which you see in the different bars, the backyard, the smokers, the bbq's, and the area's that keep you warm like standing in front of the antique stoves.
The husband was a home builder, handyman and commercial repairman that kept everything, always thinking that he may need the tools or equipment for the next job, wait till you see the garage. He also never liked to see anything good pass him by, there is an old street sign in the backyard, the 6th and Walnut sign taken when that area was replaced by Auraria Parkway, the red leather chair and robe from Denver Judge Mitchel B Johns' sitting in the basement, or a wood carved stairway stanchion from John and Margaret O'Neil Cudahy House "The Pines". There is so much more you'll see as you roam.
These two enjoyed camping, fishing, building and volunteering, with the lady keeping busy ,after retiring from the oil and gas exploration business and engineering firm, to help make sure the world is a better place for women and girls with Zonta International.
Come in and enjoy, take some of this home with you.
