Terms
When you register to bid you agree to all terms and conditions below. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are entering into a legally binding contract to pay for any items which you have bid on and won during the auction. All sales are final, no refunds will be given.
All lots are sold "AS IS." We make every effort to correctly describe and photograph the items to be sold. It is your responsibility to inspect and assess the authenticity, date, provenance, rarity, value, condition, wear and size of the items. In-person preview is available on the day of the auction starting at 2:00pm EST or by appointment beforehand. If you or a representative are unable to preview in-person please carefully examine all photos. The absence of any condition report does not imply the lot is without defects.
We have the right at our discretion to withdraw any lot from any auction at any time and for any reason.
Payment
Live Auctioneers will automatically charge the card on file (3) business days after invoices are sent. Any outstanding invoices must be paid within (4) calendar days. Items not paid for in a timely manner will result in a dispute on your account and in forfeiture of items unless prior approval has been granted.
Autopay
If you have not contacted Golden Gavel LLC to arrange payment within 3 business days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
Sales Tax
Online purchases from Golden Gavel LLC may be subject to sales tax. Please see the following for more details. If you are tax-exempt, you can submit your tax-exempt certificate to Live Auctioneers to prevent the collection of tax before the auction.
Shipping
We do not pack or ship any items. Packing and shipping is only available from third party shippers. We have provided the list of shippers below as a courtesy - please understand, you may use any shipper or third party you choose.
Please make arrangements with the shipping company you choose to pick up your item(s) in as-found condition (unboxed, as photographed for the auction) from Golden Gavel LLC. Shipping costs and payments are to be arranged directly with your shipper.
Paid items must be picked up from our auction gallery promptly. After fourteen (14) calendar days the item(s) will be forfeited to Golden Gavel LLC.
You may want to contact our local UPS Store in Enfield, CT, as we have worked with them for years.

We require emailed authorization from the buyer to release any property to anyone other than the buyer (including the shipping services). Please email authorization to goldengavelllc@gmail.com Items will be released for shipping 3 business days after payment is received.
Local pickup
We are available for pickup Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am - 4pm. If you need special timing call us at 860-623-2100 and we will do our best to accommodate. You MUST bring help if required for large/heavy items, packaging materials and tools if needed.
