Floridian Hidden Gem Artist Morris Wiener mathematically reconstructed each vessel using technical historical blueprints meticulously sourced from maritime literature. The crown jewels of this collection utilize the highly demanding, classical plank-on-frame museum grade build methods using premium stable hardwoods like oak, walnut, and cherry. This collection -and particularly the celebrated USF Constellation using over 5,500 tree nails- has been celebrated in regional press for its extraordinary commitment to precision, featuring thousands of hand-placed components engineered precisely to scale. Not a single piece of this collection has come out of a kit. Each piece of each ship was handcrafted by Morris Wiener from the rigging to the cannons to the display cases and even the lights.
