Description & Details
This house was full of wonderful surprises. At first it looks like any other home you would expect from 90-something year-old lady. But the owner had attended Parsons School of Design and so several pieces knock your socks off.
But first, the biggest item:
24 FOOT BARI STEEN CAR HAULER. Five years old, used three times. $7500
Next:
INCREDIBLY ELEGANT MARBLE LAMPS with brass animal motif ornamentation. Very French in style but restrained, not too rococo. Black shades. Pictures do not do justice. Probably made in Italy.
Plus:
SPUTNIK chandelier. And…
Incredible copper wall art depicting an entire street (have to see to believe)— VERY MCM.
MCM Dressers.
Beautiful dish sets.
JAPANESE pre-World War child’s tea set with sailor on it.
MCM METAL ROOM DIVIDER (sits on top of indoor planter)
Two punch bowls (one MCM).
Pewter coffee set.
Queen bed.
Vintage Christmas.
THREE good lawnmowers.
Orange/avo tree picker.
Petrified wood.
Art of all kinds.
Nice oil by S Highsmith who did a lot of paintings around Deland.
Prints.
Linens and tablecloths.
Very nice and clean sofa set.
Fab Brasilia Vintage BUTTERFLY TRAY— very delicate, don’t get near water. Thankfully, there ate no new ones of these being made.
Vintage kitchen goodies.
China cupboard.
Occasional tables.
LOTS of linens.
Tools.
A few gardening goodies.
Late 20th c trestle table.
Vintage Tea sets.
Lots of Dolls.
Lots of unusual pieces.
If you got this far, please read. We have a friend who needs an old van to work. Everything that could go wrong has slapped him. He can work and has jobs pending, but needs a work vehicle to carry a ladder and equipment. A running one would be great — doesn’t have to be pretty. A lot of you are antique/vintage dealers— if you have a van — cheap— pls call me, 321-505-3959 and i’ll pass info.
