An intrepid traveler with a refreshingly open mind, Tara Selene Hill lived a life defined by adventure and a "bottomless well" of generosity. A woman of action who never did anything by half measures, Tara was a trailblazer from the start, making history as the first African American Homecoming Maid of Honor at Jeff Davis High. She went on to earn multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Computer Information Systems Security, all with the distinction of magna cum laude.

Tara served her country with distinction in the U.S. Navy, with assignments spanning from Japan to New Zealand. Her commitment to service continued through her work with the Veterans Benefits Administration and as a "plank owner" and Vice President of Impact 100 Global Veterans. A natural leader and "doer," she also served two terms as President of the Hill Family Reunion, working tirelessly to ensure the gathering’s legacy for her beloved family.

Tara found deep meaning in her names—signifying an "elevated place," "star," and "moon"—a fascination she passed down to her daughters, and even her adored toy poodle, Trixie Sally. Witty, well-read, and warm-hearted, she "wore many hats" with grace, whether she was traveling to nearly every continent or cheering "down-to-the-bone" for her Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons. With a smile that brightened every room and a spirit that knew no quit, Tara leaves behind a legacy of achievement and an endless circle of friends.

I am very honored that Taras family has entrusted me and my team to hold her Estate Sale. I am certain we will make Ms Tara and her family proud.
