Terms and Conditions of Sale
"As Is, Where Is" Policy:
All items are sold "as is, where is," with all faults and imperfections.
No warranties or representations of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are expressed or implied.
Items are available for examination prior to bidding. By placing a bid, you signify that you have thoroughly examined the items or chosen not to examine them.
Descriptions (written or oral) reflect our opinions and are not guarantees regarding age, condition, materials, or other features.
The absence of a condition report does not imply an object is free of defects. Items may show normal signs of wear and age that might not be noted in condition reports.
Condition Reports and Frames:
Condition reports are provided as a courtesy and may contain errors or omissions.
Frames are not guaranteed to remain in the condition depicted in photographs due to handling and shipping. Antique frames are particularly susceptible to losses. Please contact us with frame-related questions prior to the auction.
Refunds and Final Sales:
All sales are final. Refunds are not offered under any circumstances.
If certainty in any area of authenticity is critical and your evaluation leaves doubt, we recommend refraining from bidding.
Payment Terms:
Payment is required at the time of purchase.
For absentee, phone, and online bids, payment must be completed within three (3) business days after the auction.
By signing our Bid Form or agreeing to these terms on any online bidding platform, you authorize us to charge your credit card for unpaid amounts after three (3) days.
Items exceeding $1,000 or those involving gold or silver may require payment via bank wire for shipping, as determined by the auctioneer or auction house.
Applicable Taxes:
Purchases are subject to Florida's 7% sales tax unless a properly completed Florida Certificate of Resale form is provided prior to purchase.
Resale certificates from other states are accepted.
International buyers are responsible for all tariffs, taxes, and assessments applicable in their country.
Buyer's Premium:
A 20% buyer's premium will be added to the final purchase price of all items.
Storage Policy:
Items not retrieved within five (5) business days will incur a storage fee of $10.00 per item, per day.
After thirty (30) days, unclaimed items will be considered forfeited and may be resold by Rum Runners Auction. Storage and related fees will still apply.
