Estate sale of the late Kay Hind

The late Kay Hind was an Albany native and a prominent citizen in the community and all of Southwest Georgia ..She served as executive director of the SOWEGA Council on Aging for almost 50 years! Her lovely home is full of treasures!! Offered in this sale will be a large collection of her costume jewelry & clothing.. Mrs Hind was active in the public & was known to be a "sharp dresser"!                                                                            Also being offered are antiques including a large Victorian carved triple wardrobe, a beautiful carved Victorian bed, Victorian Eastlake side tables, large Burl Walnut chest of drawers, beautiful Oak china cabinet with ball & claw feet, sideboards.. We have several sets of china and crystal, lots of silver plate serving pieces, glassware, dishes..  Other furniture includes a casual dining table with matching chairs that feature needle point seats! Sofas, side chairs, Electric lift Chair, queen size bed with upholstered headboard, dressers and chest of drawers. Accessories including lamps, mirrors, pictures and rugs. Computer desk . Outdoor wrought iron patio table and chairs. Lots of seasonal items. Washer and dryer, large concrete planters..of special interest is an adorable wood cart with hand painted decorative designs much like rosemaling, not sure of origin, but it appears to be German.. much much more!
