Estate of Caryn and Leon Lanier's
Longtime residents of Peachtree Hills, Leon was the Architect of many homes in Buckhead. In 1946-7 he traveled the world as a diplomatic courier where he began a passion for cultural artifacts, art collectibles, trains and coins.
The couple had a small collectibles business for 20 years and were dealers at the Pride of Dixie and Lakewood Fairgrounds flea markets.
Caryn was an avid seamstress, hobbyist, collector and lifelong student of history. In her later years she created intricate pieces of art with pen and ink.
Their home is filled with his architectural home office, many collectibles, jewelry, art and heirloom furniture accumulated during a lifetime of embracing pieces from many cultures and periods. Sale includes Miniature Landmark Buildings, Books, China, Pottery, Clothing, Furniture, Canopy Bed, Dressers, Chests, Art, Prints, Kitchen Items and more!
