This Sandy Springs living estate brings together an unusually varied collection spanning Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern design, vintage Hollywood, fine and decorative art, music, and pop culture.

Among the highlights are original vintage movie and advertising posters, including Gentlemen Prefer Blondes featuring Marilyn Monroe, Bye Bye Birdie, The Angel Wore Red with Ava Gardner, a 1965 Lili St. Cyr movie poster, a large Elizabeth Taylor The Girl Who Had Everything poster, and a linen-backed 1920s Parisian theater poster. Also included is a large 1979 René Gruau Dior Eau Sauvage poster.

Collectors will find an extensive selection of vintage head vases, with examples by Betty Lou Nichols, Inarco, Relpo, Napco, Norcrest, Rubens and Lewis Weil, along with a number of unusual and artist-altered examples.

Mid-Century and Modernist offerings include multiple lots of Ben Seibel-designed Iroquois Informal china, atomic and blown-glass lighters, Viking-style glass, MCM lighting and furniture, and decorative pieces by Kosta Boda, Murano, Fenton, Rosenthal and McCoy. The auction also includes an antique Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co. English Pewter Teapot & Creamer, Model 0231, c. 1903!

Art ranges from paintings, drawings and prints to contemporary and street art, including works by or attributed in the catalog to Chris Riggs, Ari Gradus, Scott Rohlfs, Ng Woon Lam and Ken Voss, as well as Marilyn Monroe artwork and Atlanta's Clermont Lounge art.

Hollywood, fashion and entertainment run throughout the collection, with material related to Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Ann-Margret, Betty Grable, Ava Gardner, Elvis, Erté and Romero Britto. Pop-culture lots include Disney and Barbie collectibles, Marvel Spider-Man, Golden Girls planters, vintage premiums and toys, and holiday collections.

Music is another substantial part of the sale, with vintage vinyl, 45s and hundreds of CDs covering disco, dance, jazz, big band, swing, blues, pop, rock, soundtracks and more. Artists represented include Donna Summer, Village People, Liza Minnelli, Nancy Sinatra, Divine, Eartha Kitt, Cher, Dionne Warwick and others.

Rounding out the auction are Franklin Mint House of Erté sculptures, art glass, watches and jewelry, vintage ceramics, elephant and dog collections, photography and design books, furniture, lighting and home décor.
