Description & Details
Our globe-trotting client—deeply connected to Chicago’s restaurant scene—has an incredible eye for design. Her collection features a striking set of eight hand-welded steel, bronze, and copper dining chairs signed by legendary New Orleans designer Mario Villa. Other standout pieces include the iconic Hollywood Regency pineapple mirror by Gampel Stoll and a Balinese door, repurposed into a coffee table, sourced from The Golden Triangle.
Her taste in art is wonderfully eclectic, ranging from a life-size mosaic ballerina sculpture and a signed bronze by Paul Wegner to unique works discovered at local juried art fairs. She’s also curated an impressive selection of artifacts gathered during travels throughout Asia and Southeast Asia.
As a seasoned cook and entertainer, she’s assembled an extensive collection of cookware (only a sample is pictured in the on-line portfolio). Rounding out the mix are books, clothing, vintage vinyl, garden tools, office supplies, exercise equipment and SO MUCH MORE THAN PICTURED!
Photos will be added throughout the week of the sale—stay tuned!
