Terms and Conditions for Cora Violet Auctions
1. All items in the auction catalog are sold AS IS, WHERE IS and all sales are final. NO RETURNS AT AUCTION.
2. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer the lot in dispute.
3. All purchases must be paid in full by credit card on LiveAuctioneers.com, including processing fees, or by Zelle or wire transfer. Unpaid balances will be marked as a delinquent account on LiveAuctioneers.com and the bidder may be blocked from bidding at future sales and we may take legal action against you or your company. By bidding at this auction you are bound by this agreement to pay your winning bid in full without exception.
4. The buyer is responsible for all shipping, import fees, duties and insurance costs. We apply insurance for the full value on all packages without exception. This will be reflected on your shipping cost.
5. Cora Violet Auctions is not responsible for any damage or loss to any lots after the auction.
6. Cora Violet Auctions reserves the right to withdraw any lot from the auction at any time for any reason.
7. Returns are not accepted at auction and we do not accept returns on items purchased from us. It is the buyers responsibility to examine photos, condition statements and measurements closely. Please reach out for additional lot information when necessary.
8. A buyer's premium of 22% will be added to the final bid amount.
9. International bidders are responsible for import tariffs and all other customs regulations for their countries.
10. All purchasers are subject to sales tax, unless they provide a valid certificate of exemption.
11. This is a public online auction by Cora Violet Auctions. Bidding in this auction sale constitutes acceptance by the bidder of all the terms and conditions of the auction sale stated herein. Bidders shall have no recourse against the consigner for any reason whatsoever.
12. Cora Violet Auctions reserves the right to reject bidder registration or bid and to withdraw any item from the auction sale at any time for any reason.
13. By registering and participating in this sale, you acknowledge that you are bound by our terms and conditions. Bidders understand that all bids are final and that once an item is won, the bidder is obligated to purchase that item. We do not allow bidders to back out of their purchase or to refuse payment for items won. Any bidder who fails to complete a transaction after winning an item may be subject to legal action and may be banned from future auctions. You may retract a bid before 24 hours of the sale end date.
14. All photographs in the web catalog are of the actual lots being sold. The condition of the lots is stated within the item description. Prospective purchasers are encouraged to inspect all property prior to bidding, as the fact that damages, repairs, restorations, or other defects are noted for certain lots does not preclude the presence of any other defects which have not been described.
15. The Auction House has made an effort to fully describe the lots in this catalog, but makes no representation or warranty with respect to the accuracy or completeness of the catalog or of the descriptions of condition. Requests for additional information regarding any lot should be made at least four days prior to the sale by emailing info@coravioletauctions.com.
16. Storage and Abandonment of Items: Upon successful payment for won auction items, buyers have a grace period of 30 days to confirm shipping information if needed or pick up of their purchased items. If items have not been approved for shipment or picked up or have communicated with us proper arrangements within this 30-day period, a storage fee of $100 per lot will be applied for each additional month the items remain in our possession.
Furthermore, if no arrangements for shipment or pick up have been communicated within 3 months from the date of successful payment, the items will be considered abandoned, and the ownership will be forfeited by the buyer. In such cases, the auctioneer reserves the right to dispose of the items as deemed appropriate, with no obligation to refund the buyer's payment.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure timely communication for the shipment or pick up of purchased items to avoid incurring storage fees or the risk of item abandonment
17. In the event of non-payment by the winning bidder, the responsibility for payment shall shift to the underbidder, who will be considered the new winning bidder and thereby obligated to fulfill all financial commitments and terms associated with the auction.
18. All images and photographs are copyright of the Company Cora Violet Auctions, and may not be used or reproduced for any reason either personal or commercial.
