His name? Robert Donald Erickson. Occupation? University of Chicago Professor and beloved teacher at the Laboratory School of Chicago. Remember your favorite teacher? I bet you can blurt out his/her name without thinking. Heck its probably one of your password answers; "what was the name of your favorite teacher?" That teacher may have opened your eyes to music, the arts, medicine, public speaking, design, architecture... Set you onto a path of discovery. For many students in Hyde Park Chicago, it was Professor Erickson.
