Method of Payment: All purchases must be paid in full by check, cash, Visa, Discover, American Express, or Master Card. A buyer's premium equal to 15% will be applied to all winning bids. The buyer's premium percentage will be applied to each lot sold, to be paid by the buyer as part of the final purchase price. An additional 3% fee will be charged to all purchases using a credit card. Payments not received by the final pickup time will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.
Payment of 2017 Ford and 2000 Chevrolet LS: The successful Buyer of the 2017 Ford the 2000 Chevrolet is required to make payment in full by cash, certified funds, or wire transfer. No other forms of payment will be accepted for these items. Sales Tax: Indiana sales tax is not collected by the auction company on the sale of the Chevy Truck and Motorcycle. The Buyer will be responsible for paying all applicable sales tax directly to the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) at the time of title transfer and registration. Title and Transfer: Titles will be transferred only after full payment has been received and verified. Buyers are responsible for any additional fees associated with titling and registration.
Firearms: The Steffen Group does not warrant that you may legally purchase, resale, own or use specific products offered for sale at our auction. Local laws are constantly changing, it is your responsibility to investigate the products you wish to purchase and verify that they are not prohibited by any State or Local ordinances in your area before bidding. This auction is considered an estate-style auction, and The Steffen Group is acting as an agent for the seller. Must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a long gun, and 21 years of age or older to purchase a hand gun. Long guns sold to in-state buyers will be passed out the day of the auction. All hand guns, and long guns sold to out of state buyers, will be taken to an FFL dealer to complete the transfer. Buyer shall pay a $35 dollar transfer fee by FFL for each transfer, and buyer is responsible for any additional fees, shipping, and handling for out of state purchasers. The Hand Guns will be delivered to the FFL Dealer on the morning of Tuesday, May 9, 2023. The original purchase of the gun must be paid for at the auction site first and then pickup will be available after 12:00 noon on May 9th. The FFL Dealer for this auction will be Freedom Firearms which is located at 1525 Directors Row, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Condition of Items: All items are being sold "As-Is, Where-Is" with no warranty being expressed or implied by the Auction Company or the Seller.
Removal: Items may be picked up on Monday, June 30th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the property located at 13525 Tonkel Rd., Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Any items not removed within this time frame will be forfeited by the Buyer, may be resold, and any cost of removal, deficiency, or loss may be charged to the Buyer. Your stamped paid receipt must be shown to checkout supervision prior to removal. Although checkout supervision will be provided, the auction company and sellers are not liable for lost or stolen items purchased at the sale. Buyers are responsible for all risk of loss, property damage, personal injury caused by removal, and all costs of removal of items/lots purchased. Moving & loading services contracted with any rigging or moving company are independent of the Auctioneer, and the Auctioneer shall be held harmless from any claims arising between the buyer and said company.
Shipping: Shipping will be available for small items in-house through Shipping Saint. Large items will be shipped using More Than Mail, Pak Mail or Similar (NOT ALL ITEMS QUALIFY FOR SHIPPING - CALL SALE MANAGER FOR CLARIFICATION OF ITEMS). All costs associated with shipping, including boxes, materials, and handling, will be paid by the Buyer. A $5 handling fee is added to all invoices requesting shipping. For questions regarding shipping, contact the Auctioneer prior to the closing day of the auction. We cannot ship with an outside shipping label being sent to the shipping department. Any invoice total of $500.00 or more will also be shipped with and adult signature required. The items will be packed, and then an invoice will be sent for payment through Shipping Saint. If damage does occur, we insure every package. All claims will need to be filed through Shipping Saint or the Outside Shipping Company.
