Any such statements are strictly matters of opinion. Photographs in this catalogue are of the actual objects being sold, but exact condition of the objects offered is their condition day of the sale. Many of the consigned items in this sale have been evaluated by nationally recognized authenticators. In such situations where our consignors have endeavored to provide such verification, the artifacts are being sold with that opinion. All items carrying an independent certificate of authenticity are being sold "as-is".
Other consigned PREHISTORIC items without a certificate of authenticity (independent) may be returned by absentee (phone or internet) within 30 days following the auction. There will be no refunds or adjustments starting on the 30th day following the sale or after. Historic items are excluded.
The Auctioneer (J.R. Burton Auctioneering AU19900041) will be the final judge as to which bidder is the highest bidder. In event of any dispute in this matter, the auctioneer shall use his own discretion to decide whether to reopen the bid or not. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder at the fall of the Auctioneer's hammer. While we endeavor to receive and record all bids, T&T Archaeological Consulting, LLC is not responsible for the failure of any bid to be executed. The Purchaser shall assume full risk and responsibility for the lot purchased once title has passed. The buyer must pay Indiana sales Tax (7%) unless exception is allowed under laws regulating such tax. Out of state sales tax numbers are accepted. A 17% Buyers Premium will be applied to internet (Live Auctioneers) purchases.
All accounts are to be settled by the end of the sale unless other arrangements have been made. Payment may be made by cash or personal check if approval has been established with Tony Putty or T & T Archaeological Consulting, LLC. No items removed until paid for. Absentee purchases must be paid for within 21 days following the auction. VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, AND DISCOVER ARE ALL ACCEPTED. A small 3% processing charge (by credit card company) will be applied. Wire transfer fees are paid by the buyer.
There will be absolutely NO returns or adjustments of any kind made 30 days or more after the sale date (no exceptions). We reserve the right to refuse admittance to or participation by any individual or group.
