HERES WHAT YOU’LL FIND…
***Special note regarding the collection and diorama of HO scale trains and accessories***
Beginning Thursday at the opening of the sale, the entire collection of trains and diorama will be available first-come first-served at a buy-it-all for one money price. If the entire collection does not sell in whole on Thursday, beginning Friday and for the remainder of the sale, the collection will be available for sale individually pieced and priced. Discount structure of the sale will not apply. This includes all trains, numerous engines, train cars, locomotives and tenders (HO scale - some metal, some plastic, a few with boxes) track, buildings, people, automobiles, village accessories, trees, greenery, village making components, boxes and bags of train parts and village accessories, train museum diorama, wood frame base, wood and Styrofoam diorama, train system controller, music and sound system with train whistles and sound affects and more. May not be removed during sale hours, Thursday-Sunday. Must be removed sometime the week of April 7-April 11, by appointment.
The procedure for how the trains will be sold on Thursday is as follows: numbered tickets will be distributed according to your order of arrival (place in line) before opening at 9:00 a.m. Upon entry into the house, potential buyers will be allowed to briefly examine the set up. Potential buyers will be allowed to purchase the entire system for one price by the order of their number in line. Buyer number one will be given the opportunity to buy it all at the price of the day. If the buyer declines we will move to buyer number two, etc. with the same offer. If the buyer declines to buy it for one price they will be given the option to leave a bid that will be considered at the end of the day Thursday. We will either sell the entire set up to the first buyer to purchase it for the price of the day, or we will consider all bid offers at the end of the day on Thursday. If one of these offers is accepted, the entire system will be sold and no longer available for the remainder of the sale.
