Throughout a career spanning countless television series and films, he brought stories to life through the art of costume design - shaping characters, eras and worlds with creativity and passion.  

From small screens to big screens, Billy Ray’s work left a lasting impact, earning the respect of colleagues and the admiration of audiences.  Now, while the costumes may be finding a new home, the legacy remains stitched into every scene.  

Nestled in a quiet corner of New Orleans, Hollywood South Costumes is taking its final bow. After years of outfitting the movie and television industry, the beloved shop is closing its doors, for its last curtain call.

Racks overflow with pristine period clothing from the 1960s, '70s, and an abundance of ‘80s treasures. Contemporary fashion lines the shelves too—outerwear, suits, casual wear, and accessories, all waiting for new homes. The jewelry cases shimmer like a French Quarter balcony at night, filled with thousands of screen-worn pieces, each carrying its own cinematic story. Not to mention a stunning variety of belts for men and women that perfectly complement any outfit."
