Adams Auctions LLC is pleased to present the well-appointed estate of a Springfield physician and his darling wife. Throughout the home you'll find quality mid-century modern furniture, Danish-made pieces, teak furnishings, vintage furs and period décor. This sale is a strong opportunity for collectors, designers and anyone furnishing a home with mid-century style.

AUCTION DETAILS:
All items sell to the highest bidder. Bidding is online only, through our bidding platform. Lots will close in the order listed. If an item receives a bid in the final 2 minutes, bidding extends another 2 minutes to prevent sniping and keep competition fair.

CONDITION & TESTING:
Items we were able to test are marked "TESTED" in their descriptions. Many condition assessments are based on observation only. If you have questions about any item, PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL BEFORE BIDDING. It is your responsibility to make sure an item meets your needs before you bid.

BUYER REMOVAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
All purchases must be removed by the buyer, at the buyer's expense, on the scheduled removal date and time at 124 South Shore Dr., Springfield, MA. Adams Auctions LLC does NOT offer removal or delivery services for hire.
This is a residence, not a warehouse. There are stairs to the basement and bedrooms. If you're not confident moving your own items, arrange movers ahead of time. If you have no way to move an item, please do not bid on it.
Come prepared. Bring tie-downs, tools, work gloves, dollies, hand trucks, ladders, blankets and your own help with lifting. If an item appears installed in the listing photos, be ready to uninstall it.
No forklift on site. Plan to move all items yourself.
No staff assistance. For liability reasons, Adams partners and staff will not assist with removing purchases, and no one will be on site to help with heavy lifting or unexpected difficulties. If anyone helps you, including a fellow winning bidder, it is courteous and customary to tip them.
Power and facilities. Power and water are not guaranteed, so any tools you need for removal should be battery powered. There IS a restroom on site.
Parking. You will be told where to park on removal day.
Wait times. You may need to wait if another item is blocking access to your purchase.

TIMING & LATE ARRIVAL FEES:
Adams Auctions LLC representatives leave the location at the published time (3:00 PM). Please plan to pick up your items promptly.
Late arrival: If you arrive after 3:00 PM, we cannot guarantee a team member will be able to wait for you. If someone does wait, $50 per hour, billed in quarter-hour increments, will be added to your invoice.
Additional removal day: If you can't make the scheduled removal date, you may request another day. Adams Auctions LLC must approve it before the auction closes. The fee is $150 for the first hour and $75 per hour after that, paid in cash at the time of removal. There are no exceptions to this charge.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:
Buyer's premium: 20% for credit/debit card and PayPal; 15% for cash, Zelle and bank certified check
Sales tax: 6.25% (Massachusetts)
Accepted payment: credit card, debit card, PayPal, cash, Zelle or bank certified check. Personal checks are not accepted.
All invoices must be paid in full before you leave the removal site.
A team member will contact you the day after the auction closes to confirm how you'd like to pay.

IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS:
By registering and bidding, you agree to Adams Auctions LLC's full Terms and Conditions of Auction Participation, including:
All items are sold "as-is, where-is," without warranty or guarantee.
You are responsible for inspecting items and asking about their condition before bidding.
Items not removed by the end of the removal window become the property of Adams Auctions LLC and may be disposed of at your expense.
You release Adams Auctions LLC, the business owner and the property owner from liability for bodily injury during removal.
You are responsible for any damage to the property during removal and agree to minimize it.
Winning bids are binding contracts. Non-payment will result in legal action, including attorney's fees, a $250/month late fee and 5.5% monthly interest.
