Placing a bid is a binding agreement to purchase. Do not bid if you do not intend to pay or arrange pickup/shipping.
Invoices must be paid by 12:00 PM the day after auction close. Unpaid invoices will result in account suspension and a $50 reinstatement fee.
Winning bidders must either pick up their items or arrange for shipping. Failure to do either within 7 days of auction close will result in forfeiture. No refunds will be issued.
Shipping is handled exclusively by Pakmail of West Hartford, and all shipping charges must be paid directly to them. We do not include shipping on your auction invoice.
We do not ship items, we do not quote shipping rates, and we do not guarantee Pakmail’s timelines. Any shipping concerns, claims, or insurance questions must be directed to Pakmail.
Caring Transitions is not liable for any damage, delay, or dispute once your items are transferred to Pakmail.
If you choose pickup, bring your own packing materials and help. We do not supply boxes. If you leave behind furniture or other large items, a $40 restocking fee may apply.
All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS. Expect typical signs of wear from vintage/used goods. We do not list every flaw.
No returns, refunds, or exchanges for any reason.
A 15% buyer’s premium is added to all winning bids.
We only retract bids under limited conditions, and not within 48 hours of auction close. Bid carefully.
Buyers are responsible for confirming the condition and completeness of items before leaving pickup. Any concerns must be raised in person at pickup or within 48 hours of delivery if shipped.
