Best Offer Process – Furniture & Other Large Items
Select furniture and rugs at this sale are being offered through our “best offer” process, rather than fixed pricing. Here’s how it works:
You have until 5 PM on Saturday, September 12, to submit your best reasonable offer.
Pick-Up is Sunday, September 13 from 9 AM - 1 PM.
Offers must be submitted in writing, either:
– In person at the sale
– By text to (413) 441-0694
– Or by email to nick@crossroadsestatesolutions.com
Please include a photo or inventory number of the item along with your offer.
This system was first introduced during the pandemic and has remained in place due to overwhelmingly positive feedback from both buyers and sellers. Buyers appreciate the ability to thoughtfully consider large purchases, check measurements, and evaluate whether the style suits their home—without the pressure of immediate decision-making.
Our clients benefit as well: this process results in a higher sell-through rate, leaving fewer large items behind and streamlining the overall clear-out. It’s a practical and respectful approach that ensures a win-win for everyone involved.

Join Crossroads Estate Solutions this weekend for a wonderful two-day estate sale in a beautifully kept home filled with an appealing mix of traditional furnishings, decorative pieces, collectibles, household goods, clothing, and plenty more to discover.
Saturday, September 12 • 9 AM–3 PM
Sunday, September 13 • 10 AM–1 PM
The home features a great variety of furniture, ranging from traditional and antique-inspired pieces to comfortable contemporary furnishings. Highlights include a Drexel chinoiserie china cabinet, Acrosonic by Baldwin satin mahogany upright piano, Pearson sectional, Ethan Allen sofa, pair of CB2 persimmon upholstered armchairs, Chippendale-style armchairs, a Victorian walnut marble-top washstand, Eastlake-style marble-top parlor table, Federal-style mahogany side table, walnut executive desk, grandfather clock, dressers, cabinets, occasional tables, rockers, and more.
There is also a nice selection of outdoor furniture and entertaining pieces, including patio dining furniture with umbrella, an outdoor loveseat and chairs, wicker seating with firepit table, and a Weber Spirit II grill.
Throughout the home you’ll find china, crystal and glassware, silverplate and serving pieces, barware, decorative ceramics, figurines, vases, framed art, mirrors, and home accessories. The kitchen is packed with useful cookware, bakeware, dishes, small appliances, serving pieces, and everyday household items.
Also included are women’s clothing and accessories, handbags, jewelry, linens, books, children’s books and toys, electronics, TVs, stereo equipment, an extensive assortment of vinyl records, CDs and DVDs, sports collectibles and memorabilia, New York Mets items, exercise equipment, a folding Sportcraft ping pong table, seasonal pieces, and plenty of useful household finds.
A selection of furniture and larger items will be sold through our Make an Offer / Best Offer process, with offers accepted through Saturday at 5 PM and pickup for winning offers on Sunday from 10 AM–1 PM. Full Make an Offer item descriptions and details will be posted shortly.
