We’re excited to have you participate in our online-only auctions hosted on HiBid. Please read the following terms to understand how things work.
1. Previewing Items
You can preview items before the auction through live video streams online. This gives you a chance to see everything clearly. Currently we use Zoom, Apple Facetime, or What’s App. Please call Jason @ 315-567-1179 for more details.
2. Registration
You need to be at least 18 years old to register.
Registration happens through HiBid, where your credit card will be verified. We reserve the right to restrict accounts at our discretion.
3. Item Details
What you see is what you get! We guarantee the accuracy of our descriptions and photos.
Some items may have reserve prices, which will be noted.
4. Payments
Payment Methods: Credit or debit cards only.
Buyer’s Premium: 13% will be added to your final bid.
Sales Tax: Sales tax applies unless you provide a valid resale certificate before the auction.
Deadlines:
Payment for items is due right after the auction. The card registered with HiBid will be charged, unless other arrangements have been made.
Payment for shipping is due 48 hours after you receive your invoice.
If payment isn’t received, the sale is canceled.
5. Pickup and Shipping
Shipping: We offer both in-house and third-party shipping. Everything in our auctions can be shipped! Third party options are the UPS Store and FedEx.
Pickup: Available by appointment only. Contact us to schedule a time.
Missed Pickup: Items not picked up within 7 days will be considered abandoned and resold.
Handling Fees: A small handling fee applies for third party shipped items.
6. Bidding Rules
Bids are final and binding. Make sure you’re ready before clicking!
We follow HiBid’s rules for bid increments and proxy bidding.
7. If There’s a Dispute
Disputes will be handled according to HiBid and House Of Hummel policies.
Photos are the ultimate reference if there’s a mismatch with descriptions.
8. Auctioneer Rights
We may cancel, extend, or adjust auctions if there’s a technical issue.
9. Staying in Touch
By registering, you agree to receive emails about auctions and updates. You can opt out of promotional emails anytime.
10. No Refunds or Returns
