If the buyer chooses to use a credit card, the buyer pays all merchant processing fees associated with the transaction, on both ends. Estate Max does not absorb these costs. No checks accepted. ID required. Instead of using Debit, Please bring small bills and pay.... vs. using 100's for your purchases. (The advertised Zero liability debit guarantee is not honored by many banks anymore, because of high incidence of scamming. So, if they want to accuse you of scamming your own account, you lose. • EstateMax assumes no liability for the condition of our client's property. All sales are absolutely final- no returns or refunds, no guarantees or warranties on merchandise. It is used goods. (Make sure it fits and works before you pay for it.)
• Shop with your wallet in your pocket, leave your purse at home. They get in the way and can get lost or heisted by another shopper. Not our problem.
• Neither EstateMax nor our client is responsible for personal accidents, inside or outside of their property. We take many precautions to create a safe shopping environment. Please pay attention! and be considerate of other shoppers.
• (Please, NO Cell phone conversations will be tolerated while in the home. If someone wants to shop they should come to the sale, not talk to you while you are shopping. It is distracting and no one wants to hear it. Thank you. )
• “Holds” will be honored for 20 minutes on the “hold table”. Going to the bank machine? Leave a 20% non-refundable deposit.
• Caveat emptor. EstateMax does not test electronics, machinery. Everything is sold "AS-IS". Plug it in, turn the key and try it out before paying.
• Doors might be closed to new shoppers a half hour prior to the published closing time. This allows existing shoppers to complete their transactions and for us to 'wrap it up' on schedule. The sale is over daily at the advertised time, unless we opt to keep it running. Please don’t show up 15 min before the published closing time. The sale is over when it is over, not the day after.
• Please shop, pay the cashier, then remove purchases to your vehicle.
• "Hoarding" at the cashier will not be tolerated. All items brought to the hold table are your commitment to buy. No put backs.
• Arguing with EstateMax personnel, for any reason, is cause to ask you to leave the premises. We make all final determinations of pricing. Playing “good cop, bad cop” doesn’t work here.
• Schedule pick up of Large furniture w/cashier at POS. All is removed with EstateMax supervision, by your own labor, unless we have labor on hand . Please be prepared with a vehicle for removal.
• It is courteous of you and a realistic expectation of us for you to tip our laborers (in cash) for any assistance they give you. The cashier will give you the expected tip amount.
• Park as marked on the street or in the driveway, if available.
• Most homes are not ADA accessible. Enter at your own risk. Please do not bring children or pets to the estate sale. You will be held liable for breakage and they can get underfoot and injured in a crowded house.
