ALL WHO BID IN A STANTONS AUCTIONEERS EVENT ARE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

TERMS OF SALE. When bidding on a lot offered by Stantons Auctioneers, the bidder indicates acceptance of the following terms and conditions. Participation in the auction binds you to agree to these terms, whether you have read or understood them.

CONDITION OF ITEMS - All items are being sold as is, where is a condition, with no expressed or implied warranty of any kind. All descriptions and information are offered only as a guideline. It is not supplied of a warranty of the item being sold. Stantons will be glad to do an inspection of the items that you have an interest in bidding on; however, that inspection is only our opinion and does not imply a warranty or change the fact that all items are being sold in as is condition. Final determination of the condition of any item, however, is the Buyer's responsibility. All sales are final. Again, the final responsibility regarding the condition falls upon the buyer and their decision to bid and participate in the auction.

If desired, please email stevenEstanton@gmail.com or mcbleisch@gmail.com for a condition report and additional pictures. Emails should be received at least 48 hours before the auction.

The auctioneers and the seller are not responsible for errors and/or omissions in the catalog, online listings, website, social media, or any other supplemental materials, whether written or verbal.

BUYERS PREMIUM. There will be a 23% Buyer's premium for online bidders using the Live Auctioneers Platform. The premium charged to on-site bidders is 15%. Absentee and phone bidding are subject to a 15% buyer's premium. The amount will be added to the purchase price of the item. A charge of 3% will also be added to persons paying with a credit card. Note information regarding the charge of sales tax, as all bidders are responsible for any applicable taxes.

BIDDER REGISTRATION - If you are attending the auction, you may register to bid during the preview or on the day of the auction. We will need your driver's License to complete the registration. If you are bidding on Live Auctioneers, registration is required at least 24 hours in advance of the auction. By registering for an auction, you agree to all terms and conditions. Your registration is subject to approval by the auction firm.

BIDDER INFORMATION - Anyone bidding at our auctions agrees to pay for all lots for which they are the winning bidder. Each lot in the auction is given a low and high estimate representing a range of values, which is Stanton's conservative auction evaluation. The actual prices realized can fall below or above this range. An estimate of the selling price should not be relied upon as a statement that this is the price at which the items will sell or what their value may be.

If identical absentee bids are left on an item, the first bid received will take precedence.

Stanton's Auctioneers reserves the right to withdraw any property before the completion of the sale and will have no liability for doing so.

Stantons reserves the right to accept or decline any bid. Bids must be for the entire lot, and each lot constitutes a separate sale. All bids are per lot unless otherwise announced at a live sale by the auctioneer. The lots will be sold in their numbered sequence unless the auctioneer directs otherwise. For live auctions, the auctioneer will have the final discretion if any dispute should arise between bidders. The auctioneer will determine the successful bidder, cancel the sale, or re-offer to sell a lot or lots in dispute. Stantons Auctioneers will have the final discretion to resolve any disputes arising after the sale and in online auctions. If any dispute does arise, our sales record is conclusive.

Subject to the conditions set forth, on the fall of the auctioneer's hammer, the title to the offered lot will pass to the highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer. The bidder will assume the full risk and responsibility for the item and will immediately pay the full purchase price.

If any part of the Terms and Conditions is found by any court to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that part shall be discounted, and the rest of the conditions shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent of the law.

We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions at any time without notice.

All International Bidders are responsible for knowing their countries' laws on import, customs, and duties. All Duties and Tariffs are the responsibility of the BUYERS.

PAYMENTS Invoices will be sent by Email to Live Auctioneers and absentee bidders. All unpaid invoices with Live Auctioneers will be charged to the credit card on file within 72 hours after the auction ends and will be subject to the Live Auctioneers credit card processing fee. All invoices must be paid within 7 calendar days, and all purchases must be paid in U.S. Dollars.

PLEASE NOTE - The prevailing sales tax will be charged to all BUYERS participating in the online format unless you are reselling the items. In this case, IT IS REQUIRED that you provide LiveAuctioneers & Stantons Auctions with a CURRENT SALES TAX EXEMPTION LICENSE AT THE TIME YOU REGISTER. If a copy is not provided when registering for this auction, sales tax will be charged. Online bidders will be charged their sales tax on all purchases. Michigan Sales Tax (to onsite bidders) is not charged to instate participants on the sale of coins, silver, gold, and investment material.

Checks should be made payable to Stantons Auctioneers and mailed immediately to 144 S. Main Street, P.O. Box 146, Vermontville, Michigan 49096. All payments must be received within seven days following the auction.
