Description & Details
This week’s Thursday night auction offers a wide mix of material across collecting categories. Highlights include silver coins, gold and sterling jewelry, mid-century modern design, vintage toys, and a strong selection of artwork. The variety makes this auction approachable for both focused collectors and casual bidders.
Paper items make up a large portion of the sale, with extensive runs of photographs, postcards, ephemera, and political material. There are also large-format photos, photo-related equipment, art supplies, and graphic layout pieces, giving this auction a noticeable visual and archival lean.
Music, entertainment, and pop culture appear throughout, including vinyl records, radio equipment—much of it WWII-era—Star Wars items, sports collectibles, and a signed poster from Metallica. Vintage auto racing memorabilia and other entertainment-related material round out the section.
Decorative and design-focused lots include art glass, porcelain, china, uranium glass, clocks, watches, purses, primitives, puppets, and two classic goddess rain lamps. These pieces range from functional to purely display-oriented, with styles spanning several decades.
Militaria remains well represented with uniforms, knives, bayonets, BB guns, and WWII-related equipment. There is also a return of the popular smoker ashtray collections, along with beer and liquor advertising and a solid group of tools.
A small but interesting grouping of graphic material tied to the cult film Invaders from Mars adds another layer of interest. Overall, this auction offers steady variety, unusual combinations, and plenty to explore from start to finish.
