Online Bidding Terms & Conditions
By registering to bid and participating in the auction, all bidders agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. All Sales Are Final
All property is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties or guarantees of any kind. All sales are final. No returns, refunds,
exchanges, or credits will be given.
2. Condition of Items
All descriptions, whether printed in catalogs, posted online, or given verbally by auction staff, are provided as a courtesy and do not constitute a warranty.
Buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect all items in person prior to bidding.
Stevens Auction Company makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, authenticity, or condition of any lot, including the grade or strike of any coin offered.
3. Title and Risk of Loss
Ownership of a lot transfers to the highest bidder immediately when the auctioneer announces the lot as ?sold." At that moment, all responsibility for loss, damage, or theft transfers to the buyer, whether or not payment has been completed.
4. Bidding Disputes
In the event of a dispute between bidders, the auctioneer has the sole authority to determine the winning bidder or to re-offer the lot. The auctioneer's decision is final.
5. Auctioneer's Rights
Stevens Auction Company reserves the right to:
Refuse any bid
Withdraw any lot before or during the auction
Combine or divide lots
Change the order of sale at any time
6. Payment Methods Specific to Coins
Stevens Auction Company accepts credit cards for any Coin auction up to two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00). Stevens Auction Company requires payment via Cash, Cashier?s Check, Money Order, or Wire Transfer for all other Coin Payments, no exceptions.
7. Pickup and Storage
All purchased items must be removed within 15 calendar days following the auction.
Items left after this period may incur a $10 per item, per day storage fee.
Any property remaining after 60 days may be considered abandoned and may be resold at Stevens Auction Company's discretion.
Buyers are responsible for all storage, handling, and transportation costs.
8. Shipping
Stevens Auction Company does not pack or ship items.
Arranging packing and shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
Any assistance provided by auction staff is strictly a courtesy and is performed at the buyer's risk. Stevens Auction
Company assumes no liability for shipping damage or loss.
9. Limitation of Liability
If any claim arises, Stevens Auction Company's total liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the item in question.
