* April 27: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM
* Arrive early to inspect thoroughly due to volume of items!
* Location: 243 Captain Gloster Drive, Gloster, MS—held in a large commercial building, capacity for 200 people for 4 hours.
* Bidding: All bidders must register on-site with a valid ID. No deposit required for bidder numbers.
* Buyer’s Premium: 10% added to the final bid price of each lot.
* Payment: Cash or card only (3% surcharge on card payments).
* Sales Tax: 7% applies unless a valid Mississippi resale certificate is provided at registration.
* Condition: All items sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties, expressed or implied—preview and inspect thoroughly before bidding!
* Lots: Grouping TBD—preview to confirm how items are organized (e.g., individual vs. bulk lots).
* Removal Deadline: All items must be removed by May 7, 2026.
* Bring help for large items (e.g., metal shelving, propane tank, engine hoist).

This is your chance to own a piece of Gloster’s automotive legacy, with a massive selection of parts, tools, specialty tools, advertising memorabilia, large metal shelving, vintage Tom’s vending machines, hoods and fendersfrom the 1930s and 1940s, and a car with bill of sale (no title). Too much to list – a treasure trove for collectors, mechanics, and enthusiasts!

Everything must go as the building has been sold, and owners Mr. Buster and Mrs. Frankie Smith, beloved Gloster locals, need to clear the property before closing. Mr. Buster has been unwell, and this auction, organized with the help of Lynn Murray James, is a heartfelt effort to support them.
History of R.E. Smith Motor Company:
Founded on May 5, 1938, by R.E. Smith Sr., the dealership later added Pontiac and GMC franchises. In 1982, Harold L. “Buster” Smith Sr. moved it to its current location. Now, after decades of service, the remaining inventory is up for grabs.
