After doing so, to begin bidding, you must register for our auction on the bellremnants.hibid.com auction page

To register, you may choose the REGISTER TO BID menu item or click on the BID BUTTON of any lot within the auction

You are not required to provide your credit card information to register and participate in our auctions ~ If you are a successful bidder and wish to pay by credit card, you may do so when invoiced directly by us through Square ~ We choose not to utilize the HiBid credit card processor, even if you have a card on file with HiBid.

PLEASE MAKE SURE to enter your email address correctly, along with your telephone number without parentheses, hyphens or spaces, such as 5045814919.

After successful registration, you are ready to bid. To place a bid, simply click the bid button on the desired lot. You may automate the bidding process by entering a maximum bid, which would be your proxy or absentee bid.  A maximum bid is the highest amount you are willing to pay for an item, but also ensures that you will only pay the lowest amount possible to win the item. For example, if you wish to place an opening bid for $10, with a maximum bid of $100, you are guaranteed to win the item for any amount between $10 to $100 unless someone bids higher than $100. However, you will pay only as much that is required to maintain your "high bidder status" and hopefully be the highest bidder at closing.

 OR 

You may choose to participate in the “live bidding” process on the last day of the auction, at the posted date and time ~ In that case, you will be using the BID BUTTON to place your bids against others ~ Each time you select the BID BUTTON, you will be increasing your bid only by the set increments displayed, during which time, the sixty-second clock begins to count down.  

This is a SOFT CLOSE auction > If a bid is placed in the final moments of the lot countdown, the closing time will extend by an additional 60 seconds, allowing others a chance to bid again. This process repeats until no further bids are placed, ensuring competitive, last-minute bidding is not cut off.
