Terms

Please read all Terms & Conditions prior to registering for auction.

1. Registering to bid confirms you are 18 years of age or older AND have read and agree to abide by all terms and conditions. Credit card information is required to register to bid.

2. 18% Buyers Premium will be charged on all sold lots.

3. North Carolina Sales Tax of 7% is charged on all sales, unless NC tax exemption form is provided a minimum of 24 hours prior to close of auction to auctioneer. Invoices will not be revised to remove sales tax. Email NC tax exemption forms to AwesomeNCAuctions@gmail.com. If you do not receive a response to your submittal, call the auctioneer at (910) 591-6400 for confirmation it has been received.

4. Payment may be remitted by credit/debit cards or cash. Payment form on file with Hibid will be charged, unless the auctioneer is contacted a minimum of 24 hours prior to auction close to arrange for cash payment. Buyers that fail to pay by the end of allotted pick up time will be banned from future auctions and items will be eligible for resale.

5. Items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS”. There are no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Item condition is shown in pictures and descriptions to the best of my ability and may or may not be completely correct. All sales are final, no refunds.

6. Auctioneer and staff reserve the right to bid on items with the intent to purchase the items.

7. Pick up dates and times are shown in the auction description. Larger items are available for pick up at a secondary location provided to winning bidders. Items not picked up during pick up time are forfeited and no refund or credit will be provided, unless prior arrangements have been made with the auctioneer. Contact the auctioneer at (910) 591-6400 to schedule an alternate pick up date and time a minimum of 24 hours prior to auction close. The auctioneer and seller are not responsible for damage or theft to items after auction close. Please bring assistance to load items.

8. International shipping is NOT available. Shipping availability is indicated on each lot. All buyers located outside of North Carolina will be charged shipping, unless the auctioneer is notified a minimum of 24 hours prior to the end of the auction. Shipping is done at the buyer’s expense. Shipping expense includes the cost of postage AND a $5 handling fee (to cover the cost of shipping materials per lot). Items ship via USPS or UPS with $100 insurance coverage included. Buyer may request additional shipping insurance, if the final sales price exceeds $100, for a fee. Additional shipping insurance is paid for by the buyer. To request additional shipping insurance, call the auctioneer at (910) 591-6400 prior to the shipping date shown in the listing. Items are shipped to address on file with Hibid. Auctioneer is not responsible for items damaged during shipping.

9. Auction preview is by appointment, please call (910) 591-6400 to schedule a time during the preview date and time shown in the auction details. By bidding on an item, the buyer confirms that the item has been previewed or that the buyer is choosing to not preview the item and purchasing “as is”.

10. It is at the auctioneers discretion to reject any buyer/bid for any reason.

11. Auction may be canceled and/or reopened due to system failures at the auctioneers discretion. Auctioneer is not liable for system failures.

12. All auction participants that go to the auction premises do so at their own risk. Auctioneer, seller, and property owner(s) are not responsible for any accidents that occur during auction activities.
