Description & Details
The Cardinal Estate Sale
A Fleetwood, a Cul-de-Sac, and a Nostalgia Spiral With Leather Seats.
The Cardinal is where the lawns are manicured, the golf carts have better paint jobs than most cars,
and a crooked mailbox flag may prompt a neighborhood committee meeting.
So naturally, we are rolling into a cul-de-sac with a 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood, vintage toys,
beautiful old furniture, Waterford crystal, golf gear, fishing gear, and enough fabulous
stuff to make your “I’m just going to look” lie collapse before you reach the front door.
This is the kind of sale where a grown adult can walk in for a Keurig and leave emotionally
attached to a G.I. Joe accessory, a Victorian cruet set, three LPs, a grandfather clock, and a Cadillac the size of a small condo.
First: The Cadillac.
🚘 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood
She is long. She is luxurious. She is the automotive equivalent of entering a room in a fur
coat and expecting everyone to move.
This is not a cute little commuter car. This is a Fleetwood. She has presence. She has opinions.
She has probably seen some things. And she would look absolutely magnificent in your
driveway, assuming your driveway is worthy.
Then: The Toys That May Cause a Full Childhood Flashback.
🧸 Vintage toys and collectibles include:
- Six Million Dollar Man action figures and accessories
- Adventure Team
- G.I. Joe
- View-Master
- Toby mugs
- Victorian cruet-set collection
- LPs and CDs
- Holiday décor
- Silverplate
- Collectibles galore
If you hear someone whisper, “OH MY GOD, I HAD THAT,” just know they are not having a
medical event. They have simply spotted a piece of their childhood and are trying to
process it with dignity. Let them have their moment.
And Because Apparently We Needed Even More Good Stuff…
🛋️ Furniture by Hickory Chair, Hickory White, Woodmark, La-Z-Boy, and Drexel—
plus Eastlake and Victorian pieces with more personality than half the people on the internet.
✨ China and crystal by Pfaltaltzgraff, Wedgwood, and Waterford—because your
everyday glassware is tired, and frankly, it deserves a break.
📷 Cameras by Nikon, Polaroid, Minolta, Canon, and Fujica.
📺 Electronics by Philips, TEAC, Fisher, Sony, Toshiba, RCA, and more.
☕ Small appliances by Sunbeam, Black & Decker, Instant Pot, Keurig, and Mr. Coffee.
And then there are the glorious supporting characters:
Golf clubs and accessories. Fishing equipment. Outdoor furniture. Hand tools.
Yard tools. Wall art. Area rugs. Linens. Housewares. Clothing for him and her.
A grandfather clock. More décor. More collectibles.
More reasons your trunk will be filing a formal complaint by noon.
Now, Campers: The Parking Situation.
Yes, we are in The Cardinal. Yes, it is a golf community. Yes, everything is lovely,
polished, landscaped, and probably watched over by at least one person who owns binoculars strictly “for birding.”
This sale is on a cul-de-sac, and while the driveway is mercifully shorter than our
Oak Ridge adventure, parking will still require a little grace, a little patience,
and the ability to recognize that somebody else’s driveway is not an extension of yours.
Please obey all signage, keep driveways and mailboxes clear, park smart, and
do not audition your vehicle for a role in Landscaping: The Reckoning.
We are guests in this neighborhood. Let’s shop hard, laugh often, and leave the lawns,
shrubs, golf carts, and blood pressure of the surrounding homeowners fully intact.
Come early. Park smart. Then black out somewhere between the G.I. Joe
accessories and the Waterford, only to wake up in your driveway
with a Cadillac, a grandfather clock, and absolutely no regrets.
