PILOT MOUNTAIN’S

THE “HOW IS THERE STILL MORE?” COLLECTOR’S CABIN SALE

Some people collect stamps.

Some people collect teacups.

This lovely Pilot Mountain collector apparently woke up one day and said:

“You know what? I’m going to collect… EVERYTHING.”

And friends…

SHE COMMITTED TO THE BIT.

For decades she happily roamed Goodwill, yard sales, thrift shops, and flea markets

bringing home treasures, curiosities, collectibles, and “well that’s just too cute to leave behind” finds.

The result?

A house so full of fascinating things that our team keeps walking into rooms and saying:

“Wait… there’s another room???”

And yes… there is.

Because this sale features ROOMS AND ROOMS of treasure.

Not one.

Not two.

But MORE!

And every single one is packed with discoveries.

🧩 THE PUZZLE SITUATION

We need to talk about the puzzles.

Because when we say hundreds of puzzles, we’re not being cute.

There are HUNDREDS of jigsaw puzzles.

Boxes of puzzles.

Stacks of puzzles.

Puzzles hiding behind puzzles.

If you’ve ever looked at a 1,000-piece puzzle and thought “I wish I had 300 more of these”

Congratulations. Your ship has come in.

Along with puzzles you’ll also find:

Board games

Puzzle books

Brain teasers

Vintage games

Family classics

Basically… if it keeps your brain busy during winter, it’s probably here.

☕ THE MUG SITUATION

At some point in life this collector also decided:

“There is no such thing as too many mugs.”

And we respect that.

Expect dozens and dozens of collector mugs along with shelves of kitchen treasures including:

Vintage cookware

Small appliances

Bakeware

Serving pieces

Mixing bowls

Kitchen gadgets you forgot existed but suddenly need again

🍽 DISHES… DISHES… AND MORE DISHES

This house is a table-setting enthusiast’s dream.

We’re talking tons of china and dinnerware, including pieces from:

Noritake

Pfaltzgraff

Franciscan

Corelle

Corning Ware

Pyrex

Plus North Carolina pottery and charming vintage ceramics tucked all over the place.

If you’ve ever said

“Maybe I should start a dish collection…”

Well… here’s your starter kit.

🍪 COOKIE JAR ROYALTY

This collector also had a serious cookie jar habit, and we are here for it.

Featuring examples from:

Hull

McCoy

Roseville

And several others that will make collectors perk right up.

Right nearby is a wonderful teapot collection because apparently she believed snacks and tea should always be properly represented.

🧸 NOSTALGIA AHEAD

As you explore the house you’ll also uncover:

Vintage toys

Nostalgic collectibles

Figurines

Decorative pieces

Beanie Babies (because of course there are Beanie Babies)

Basically if it made someone smile between 1970 and 2005, it may very well be in here.

👗 FASHION, FABRIC & SPARKLE

Dig around a little and you’ll also discover:

Clothing

Costume jewelry

Linens

Fabric samples and swatches

Crafting possibilities

Somewhere in here is the beginning of your next DIY project.

🎄 HOLIDAY CENTRAL

This collector loved celebrating the seasons.

Especially:

🎄 Christmas

🎃 Halloween

There are boxes and boxes of holiday décor waiting for a second life.

🎶 MUSIC & MEDIA

For the music crowd:

CDs

Cassette tapes

Some vinyl records

Because every treasure hunt deserves a soundtrack.

🪑 FURNITURE & HOME DECOR

And yes…

Amid the collections you’ll also find great furniture, lamps, wall art, and home décor tucked throughout the house.

⚠️ A FRIENDLY CAMPER WARNING

This is what we lovingly call a SERIOUS COLLECTOR’S HOME.

Which means:

• Rooms are very full

• Walkways may be tight in spots

• The garage and basement are packed with discoveries

• This sale rewards patient treasure hunters

If you enjoy the thrill of saying

“OH MY GOSH LOOK WHAT I JUST FOUND”

you’re going to have a blast here.

THE FINAL WORD

This Pilot Mountain sale is part estate sale…

Part treasure hunt…

And part “how in the world did she fit all this in here?”

But one thing we can promise:

There are fantastic finds waiting in every room.

And remember…

There are ALOT of them.

So come early.

Bring a friend.

And maybe bring a box or TEN!

You’re probably going to need it.
