After you request to bid, an auction employee will take the authorized hold plus the 3% credit card processing fee with the credit card you placed on file. NJ bidders are required to post a $257.50 authorized hold deposit, Out-of-State bidders are required to post a $515.00 authorized hold deposit & International bidders are required to post a $5,150.00 authorized hold deposit. The authorized hold deposit may be waived for long-time well-established bidders at the auctioneer’s discretion. Online Pre-Bidding will open on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 9:00 AM and close on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 9:00 AM. Online registration is required. Online Pre-Bidding starts with Lot # 63 through to the end of the catalog.
All persons requesting to bid online MUST complete the registration process by 9am Wednesday, March 26th. Bid requests that are received after this time cannot be processed.
Simulcast Online Bidding will begin on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 11:15 AM EST with Lot # 63 through to the end of the catalog.
In order to better serve our customers, all bidders must provide their name, address, daytime phone number, and email address where they can be contacted in order to assure good contact between Peter Costanzo Auctioneers and the bidder throughout any transactions.
By registering to bid, all persons acknowledge to have full knowledge of these “Terms and Conditions of Sale” and agree to be bound thereby. By placing a bid, all persons acknowledge that they are agreeing to be bound by all Terms & Conditions of this auction sale.
Method of Sale: Everything will be sold by the piece or by the lot. Lots cannot be split. Please see lot descriptions for quantities. Lots may be grouped to give the winning bidder the privilege to take additional lots at the winning bid price. Unsold lots will be reoffered at the winning bid price.
On-site Previews will be held on Thursday, March 20, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 22, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 25, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and from 9:00 AM Wednesday morning of auction. All previews will be held at 17 Sweetmans Lane, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Look for Auction Signs. Catalogs will be available on-site. At Preview you may also leave an absentee bid.
FOR ONLINE BIDDING: There is an 18% Buyer’s Premium added to the final bid price. Buyer’s Premium for onsite purchases is 15%. An additional 3% fee will be added for any purchases or deposits made by credit card. No Debit Cards. Wire transfer and/or Bank and Cashier checks are preferred.
SALES TAX:625%NJ State Sales Tax will be charged when and if applicable.
PAYMENT: Cash, wire transfers, and bank checks are the preferred methods of payment. For any cash payments over $10,000, the purchaser is required to fill out an IRS Form 8300 at the time of payment. Credit cards will also be accepted up to a maximum of $3,000. No Debit Cards will be accepted. There is a 3.0% service processing fee for paying with credit cards through the invoice link or in person during pickup. Bidders who elect to pay their balance by credit card agree to relinquish any and all rights to charge backs. All Sales are Final. No returns or adjustments will be made after the auction. You will be emailed an invoice after the auction has ended. Your invoice will include instructions for wire transfer payments, a link to pay by credit card & other payment information. If wire transfers or other forms of payment are not received by 3 PM EST Friday, March 28, 2025, credit cards provided for registration approval may be charged the full amount of the purchase, if necessary.
SALES TAX EXEMPTIONS: Buyers exempt from tax must submit a VALID exemption certificate and present a copy of their certificate at time of registration.
EXPORTERS:If you take possession of your purchase in the United States, you must pay sales tax. You must provide the following in order not to be charged:
Bill of Lading – All export purchases must be removed by a trucking company. The trucking company will provide a Bill of Lading with the purchases listed. NOTE: No items will be released without this document or you may pay tax and be reimbursed once the Bill of Lading or a Dock Receipt is received.
REMOVAL/PICK-UP:PURCHASERS MUST REMOVE THE MERCHANDISE FROM THE PREMISES AT THEIR OWN RISK & LIABILITY. Peter Costanzo Auctioneers DOES NOT provide any shipping. Merchandise is located at and must be picked up on-premises at 17 Sweetmans Lane, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Look for Auction Signs. All purchases are made at the purchaser’s risk and the auctioneer is not responsible if all or any part is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed from any cause. Items that are paid for in full but missing at the time of removal/pick-up may be remedied by either item substitution, if available, or a refund for the lot. Auctioneer shall not be liable for non-delivery to the purchaser of any lots. Shipping arrangements and cost are the BUYER’S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY. Removal and rigging are to be at the purchaser’s own expense, risk, and liability. All rigging and delivery arrangements are strictly the responsibility of the purchaser and rigging company. Peter Costanzo Auctioneers takes no responsibility for these arrangements whatsoever. PURCHASERS MUST SUPPLY THEIR OWN BOXES, PACKING MATERIALS & LABOR.
All independent contractors, riggers, and truckers must provide to Peter Costanzo Auctioneers certificates of liability and worker’s compensation insurance. Peter Costanzo Auctioneers has discretion to refuse any independent contractor from working on the premises. Delivery can be arranged from Millhurst Mills by contacting Tom or Tim at 732-462-2000. Minimum $100.00 charge, depending on the load, for local delivery, within a 30-mile radius. As all goods are sold “AS-IS, WHERE-IS”, the delivery company will not be responsible for condition of product upon delivery, or accept any payments.
REMOVAL PICK-UP DATES & TIMES: Purchasers must schedule the removal of items with Peter Costanzo Auctioneers. Removal days and times will be Thursday & Friday, March 27 & 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, & Saturday, March 29 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, please call the auction company to schedule pick-up. All items must be picked up by 12:00 PM Saturday, March 29, 2025, unless other arrangements have been made. Any lots not picked up in the time allotted will be subject to storage fees of $35 per day, or considered abandoned.
In the event of a billing error the buyer is obligated to pay any deficiency upon presentation of a corrected bill.
Auctioneer reserves the right to resolve any dispute regarding bids or bidders. The auction company reserves the right to refuse any bid or bidder, the auction company is not obligated to approve all bidder registration requests.
Record of the sale is being kept by the auctioneer & bookkeeper and will be taken as final in the event of any dispute.

ONSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE



You must be registered and issued a bidder number to bid. An initial refundable deposit to register is $100 and must be in CASH ONLY. All other payments can be cash, cashier’s check, or certified funds. Payment by business or personal check is subject to restrictions listed below. Final payment may be made by credit card. PLEASE NOTE an additional 3% service fee will be applied.
All persons acknowledge to have full knowledge of these “Terms and Conditions of Sale” and agree to be bound thereby. PLEASE NOTE: All terms and conditions will be strictly adhered to and if you are not able or unwilling to comply with the stated terms and conditions, PLEASE DO NOT BID. The auctioneer reserves the right to add one or more to the following “Terms and Conditions of Sale” by announcement at the sale. No employee is authorized to alter these terms. If the purchaser fails to comply with any of the stated and printed “Terms and Conditions of Sale” included but not limited to full payment, method of payment and removal of purchased goods, the auctioneer at his option may declare the purchaser in default and retain all monies paid as liquidated damages.
A 25% (TWENTY FIVE PERCENT) DEPOSIT is required from the purchaser at the time the article is struck down or so much more up to the full amount of the bid at the auctioneer’s demand and option. PREVIEW: Purchasers may inspect the merchandise and are urged to do so on THURSDAY, MARCH 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, SATURDAY, MARCH 22 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, TUESDAY, MARCH 25 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and from 9:00 AM Wednesday morning of auction. REMOVAL OF ITEMS: There will be NO REMOVAL DURING THE AUCTION. If items are easily accessible, they may be removed auction day at the conclusion of the auction only, until 5 PM.
