Payment is due no later than 3 days following the auction. A late fee may be added after 3 days to your invoice.
Shipping:
We provide a shipping service. (USPS or UPS). Insurance is optional and paid by the buyer. Hoboken Auctions is not responsible for damaged or lost packages. There is a handling fee for each lot. The handling time for in house shipping may take up to 5 weeks. Please let us know if need rushed shipping.
The buyer is responsible for re-arranging returned packages.
Items that are not packed within 30 days after the sale are subject to storage fee.
ANY PACKAGE THAT HAVEN'T BEEN PICKED UP IN 90 DAYS WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED.

We can not guarantee the silver purity of unmarked pieces even if they are described as "sterling silver," in the catalog; some older unmarked pieces that are acid tested silver might be 900 or "coin silver."

54th Auction- Vintage Jewelry & Fashion Sale from two prominent New York estates:
Estate of Victoria Salter (1944-2024)
Victoria Salter was the daughter of Harry Salter, creator of the Name That Tune television game show, and Roberta Semple Salter, daughter of the renowned evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson, founder of the Foursquare Church.
The estate features Mrs. Salter's personal collection of Native American, Southwestern, and designer silver jewelry, assembled over a span of forty years. The offering also includes heirloom pieces inherited from the estates of Roberta Semple Salter and Aimee Semple McPherson.
A subsequent sale of the Victoria Salter Estate, scheduled for early 2026, will include additional property from the Salter and McPherson family estates' comprising jewelry, artworks, memorabilia, and more.
Estate of Mary Stone Phipps (1936-2022)

The Erchless House, Old Westbury, New York
This distinguished collection includes couture and custom-made designer pieces from Mrs. Phipps?s personal wardrobe, as well as items once belonging to Harriet Dyer Price Phipps (1901-1981)- whose husband, Howard Phipps (1881-1981), was the original owner of The Erchless- and their daughter Anne Phipps, the chairwoman emerita and trustee of the American Museum of Natural History, and widow of Constantine Sidamon-Eristoff.
Proceeds from the sale of Mrs. Phipps' estate will be donated to the Girl Scouts of Greater New York in memory of Mary Phipps.
