The Remember When Antiques and Estate Sales, LLC team RETURNS to one of Newark's oldest homes in the historic neighborhood of Forest Hill with TONS of new treasures such as Costume Jewelry, Autographed Books, & More! This mansion was built in 1903 for the Ballantine Family (founders of the Ballantine Beer Company) and features 11 rooms. Although the mansion has only had 4 owners since it was built, the most recent owners filled the home with their prized collections and specially curated antiques. Though many years were spent antique shopping, now EVERYTHING goes up for sale! 

This appointment based sale will take place for ONE DAY ONLY on Saturday, May 24th (11am to 6pm. Last appointment @ 5pm). Areas open for exploration include the Side Yard, Sun Porch, Dining Room, Front Entrance & Foyer, Living Room, Grand Staircase Of Artwork, 2nd Floor Foyer, 2nd Floor Guest Bedroom, 2nd Floor Office/Library, & Basement. The garage and 3rd floor will be CLOSED because everything has been sold and combined to the lower floors of the house.

- A limited standby by line will be available for those who arrive without an appointment. The standby line does not guarantee admittance but making an appointment does. 
- Many items will be discounted UP TO 50% off. That does not mean that everything is automatically 50% off but items will be on sale. (ALL Cook Books $5 except any signed versions, etc.)

- This is an appointment only sale taking place on Saturday, May 24th.

- The sale hours are 11am to 6pm with the last appointment at 5pm.

- Each appointment is valid for a 1 hour timeslot and a maximum of 2 shoppers.

- This sale is taking place on a tree lined neighborhood street with PLENTY of FREE parking!

- Large pocketbooks, backpacks, and oversized reusable tote bags such as those from IKEA are strictly prohibited.

- This is a CASH ONLY sale. If you need to access an ATM, there are plenty nearby.

- There are no bathrooms on site so please be prepared in case there is a line to enter the home. 

- ANY sign-up lists will not be honored as this is an appointment only sale..
