Conditions of Sale
There will be a 20% Buyers Premium added to all winning bids on invoice. All bids submitted can and may be regarded as the purchase price per lot, if such bid is the highest received.
Accordingly, your bid constitutes a legally binding agreement to purchase the lot in accordance with your bid, and as accepted by auctioneer. At time of bid close, item becomes the full responsibility of Bidder, and Bidder assumes title to lot items, including all risk of loss or damage to items.
By bidding, you agree to assume personal responsibility to pay the purchase price bid plus Buyer's Premium, in addition to any obligations, costs, or expenses related to item handling, shipping, insurance, taxes, export fees, or other financial or liability responsibilities. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NY State residents will be automatically charged 8% sales tax upon invoice, unless a valid tax-exempt number is filed with Live Auctioneers.
Payment
Payments will be generally processed through LivePayments Autopay. If payment is not made within seventy-two (72) hours of invoicing, your card on file will automatically be charged. Wire transfer will be the required form of payment for invoices totaling $3,000 or more.
Credit cards and (ACH) payments are accepted through LivePayments. There are no additional charges or fees associated with payment processing. Wire Transfers are also accepted, please contact for details.
Shipping / Local Pick-Up
In-house shipping MAY be available for shipment of non-fragile items. We do not offer in-house shipping for shipping totals of $500 or greater. LiveShipping is available for all lots, through our local shipping partner.
Shipping insurance recommended for all lots but REQUIRED for packages valued at $500 or more. Buyers may opt out of shipping insurance (for shipments valued under $500) at their own risk. Signature confirmation will be required for high-valued shipments / precious metal shipments.
If you wish to work with an alternate local (Ithaca, NY) shipping service, please contact us and share your preferences. If you have specific shipping questions / are interested in receiving a shipping quote, please contact us up to 24 hours prior to sale.
LOCAL PICK UP is available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please contact in advance to arrange.
Items not picked-up or without adequate shipping arrangements made within fourteen (14) days of sale, will be considered abandoned and re-sold. Non-paying bidders will be prohibited from future sales with Grace Auction & Estate Gallery, and appropriate feedback will be shared through the Live Auctioneers platform.
Auction Preview
Preview for all lots included in sale is available online at www.liveauctioneers.com. In-person preview is also offered, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY up to twenty-four (24) hours previous to sale. Video conference previews available as well, by appointment. Questions and requests for additional photos are welcomed, up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to sale start.
Condition Statement
It is the buyer's responsibility to be knowledgeable about the condition of lot properties, before bidding. We offer in-person preview (by appointment only), as well as video conference preview, and online preview at www.liveauctioneers.com. As a courtesy, Grace Auction & Estate Gallery makes condition reports available through each lot listing and offers multiple photos of each lot. All lots are sold "AS-IS" and "WHERE-IS." No statements regarding condition, value, identification, quality of a lot, whether made in writing within this catalogue or elsewhere, orally, or at any other time, shall be construed as an express or implied warranty, assumption of liability, representation, or guarantee. Agreeing to bid is an agreement to WAIVE any such warranties or guarantees. With that said, we endeavor to be as accurate as possible in property description, and enjoy creating a satisfactory experience for our clients, both buyers and sellers. Questions or requests for more detailed condition reports are welcomed in advance of auction close, along with requests for additional photos / videos, up to twenty-four (24) hours previous to sale start.

We also accept no responsibility for failures of hardware, software, internet services that may arise during the process of online bidding. Your arrangements with online bidding platforms are outside of Grace Auction & Estate Gallery's liability or responsibility. This sale is comprised of several estates in the Finger Lakes, NY region. Including antique / vintage toys, a collection of Pharmacy advertising signs and antiques from an historic pharmacy in Rochester NY, a group of ethnographic arts and antiques, art glass paperweights and figures, antique stoneware and pottery, mid-century decorative pottery, antique embroideries and textiles, antique beaded purses, and a large selection of fine art from various estates.
Ethnographic art and decoratives include Inuit baskets, southwest Native American indigenous pottery (including artists Brenda Charlie, Myra Cisneros, Armando Rodriguez, Fanny Polacca Nampeyo), Chinese antiques, several masks, an Australian Aboriginal painting signed James Simon, and carved walking sticks from African and Pacific Northwest cultures.
Artworks include signed artist proof prints by Norman Rockwell and Shepard Fairey, signed prints by Zao Wu-Ki, Andre Masson, Guillaume Azoulay, Daniel Johnson, Eric Fischl, Alain Levesque, Arnold Singer, Connie Beckley, Jonathan Borovsky, Raoul Ubac, David Smyth, Louis Icart. Original paintings and works by Jimmy Ernst, Fernando de Jesus Oliveira (Ferjo), Leonard Williams, Fritz Janschka, Path Soong, Jeff Gordon, and more. Prints and other works by including Laurence Weiner, Bernard Dufour, Pierre Alechinsky, Juan Miro, Yoko Ono, Francisco Goya, Jean Dubuffet, Allen Teger, Eiichi Kotuzuka, Ashiaga Shizuo, and the artist proof portfolio of Patrick Nagel's Playboy Portfolio II.
Glass and pottery items include pieces by Edward Held for Orrefors, Murano & Venetian glass, Muurla Finland, Olive Toikka for Iitala, Gordon & Jane Martz, J.M. Strange, and David Gill for Bennington Potters.
Antiques include interesting / historic pieces, oil & kerosene lamps, folk art pieces, apothecary, pharmacy and medical items, and textiles including various needlepoint works, woven textiles, a rare Kashmere hand pieced embroidered wool shawl, wood carvings and more.
