TERMS & CONDITIONS, PART I:

SHIPPING
1. USPS Flat Rate or Ground Shipping unless otherwise indicated.

2. Shipping costs ARE ADDITIONAL AND SEPARATE from the invoice amount, and are based on whether items can securely fit into Flat Rate boxes. Otherwise, cost is based on package measurements, weight, and location. Please see accepted forms of payment further down this page. Shipping is to be scheduled within 72 HOURS of auction end. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to initiate contact VIA TEXT with the Auction Manager and begin the shipping arrangement. Please allow 48 hours for a response as it is a first come first serve basis, don’t worry I see your text and will get to you as soon as I can. Not scheduling shipping with the auction manager within the stated time frame, will result in forfeiting your items and a possible ban from future auctions at the discretion of the auction manager. REPEAT- IF *YOU* DO NOT SCHEDULE SHIPPING YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR WINNING ITEMS.

1. Every effort will be made to mention/photograph any flaws apparent for each item, as well accurate description, but is not guaranteed. We are human and may miss a flaw. If you are unsure if an item is flawed but see no mention of it in the description then please reach out! Any condition/source of material mentioned is a matter of an opinion and not to be interpreted as fact, and most definitely not interpreted as a condition report. Vintage Haus are not Gemologists or Jewelers. Gemstones identification used in titles are written in good faith, using the information provided to us by the item (labels, envelopes etc) and any supplemental information provided to us by the original owner.

We recommend prospective bidders examine and research all items in which they have an interest.


Vintage Haus and/or the Auction Managers assume no responsibility for the correct description, genuineness, authenticity of, or defect in any lot and makes no warranty in connection therewith. Written and oral descriptions are based on Vintage Haus managers’ opinions and should in no way be construed as a guarantee of any kind as to age, condition, materials, authenticity or any other feature of items being sold. Precious metals are offered untested, with every attempt to include any visible hallmarks in the title and/or description. In no way should any assigned characteristics (ie- Gemstone name, Precious Metal Purity, or Designer/Maker), be construed as 100% accurate. Bid at your own risk. Each item description is written and shared in good faith. Vintage Haus and/or the Auction Manger or any employee therein is not liable for including inaccurate gemstone names, precious metal purities, and/or designer. Although, Vintage Haus nor it’s actors will never knowingly misrepresent any auction item as genuine (aka pass off a counterfeit item as real, on purpose), Vintage Haus nor it’s actors are not authenticators, and may be incorrect. Designer/Brand Names used in titles are written in good faith, using the visual information provided to Vintage Haus and its actors by the item itself (ie: Name) and any supplemental information provided to us by the original owner. If bidder is questioning authenticity, then the bidder must not place a bid until independent research is conducted. There are numerous resources available and are easily accessible to the bidder, to satisfy any uncertainty. If the bidder needs additional photos to send to a third party authenticator, please feel free to text the auction manager.

INVOICE PAYMENT
Payment must be received within One (1) business day of a sale. Please be sure to check and ensure payment has gone through. Vintage Haus will not initiate contact to collect payment. 

If payments are not paid you may be banned from future auctions.

SHIPPING
TEXT THE AUCTION MANAGER!!!!

Shipping is paid via ZELLE, VENMO, PAYPAL, CASHAPP, or APPLE CASH. If you do not have an account with at least one of these payment apps DO NOT BID. Create an account first, then bid.

If you do not pay for shipping due to not having an account with one of the aforementioned payments app, within 5 days from receiving the shipping quote, your item WILL BE CONSIDERED FORFEITED. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND. AND YOU WILL BE ABSOLUTELY BANNED FROM OUR FUTURE AUCTIONS.

Shipping IS available at the cost of the bidder. USPS Flat Rate or Ground. Combined shipping only available within each auction. Vintage Haus is not responsible for any items damaged during the shipping process. Insurance can be purchased for an additional cost.

Please allow up to 7 business days after shipping payment is received for items to be shipped (though it’s usually the next business day).
Accepted forms of payment for shipping are Zelle/PayPal/Venmo/AppleCash/CashApp.
Zelle has no fee.
Payment via PayPal/Venmo/AppleCash/CashApp will include a 3.5% standard fee.
-Payments sent under "Goods and Services", "Buyer Protection" or similar will have an additional 2.99% +$0.30 applied to the standard fee, totaling to 10%
Example-
Shipping costs- $10
Shipping paid PayPal/Venmo/AppleCash/CashApp
$10.35= ($10+3.5%)
Goods and Services or Buyer Protection
$11=($10+10%)
Breakdown:
11.00-2.99%=10.67-0.30=10.37-3.5%‎ = 10.00705

PLEASE NOTE: Any protections offered by the payment apps, only applies to the SHIPPING LABEL- NOT YOUR AUCTION ITEMS. Once the Auction Manager sends you a copy of the shipping label, payment app protections end. You are not protected if for some (hypothetical) reason, you do not get the item(s) you won in auction.

The following information has been put in place to ensure a smooth experience for us all. Please review these guidelines and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have!


BIDS placed through the AUCTION NINJA website on behalf of VINTAGE HAUS are a binding contract and you are responsible for paying all amounts due to VINTAGE HAUS including sale price, buyer’s premium, and all applicable sales tax and/or shipping costs. Please do not bid if you are unable to pay and take possession or set up shipping of the items in the specified time periods for each auction. All sales are FINAL. No returns, exchanges or credits. After 24 hours any unpaid invoices will have lost the opportunity to cure and will be PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM FUTURE AUCTIONS. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to ensure payment has gone through and the invoice is paid. 


BUYERS PREMIUM:
A buyer’s premium will be added to the final price and will be charged to the credit/debit card on file within 24 hours of the close of the auction. Please consider this additional cost before bidding.



SALES TAX:
All sales are subject to sales tax laws. Tax exempt buyers must provide the appropriate state sales tax exemption certificate prior to the end of the sale. You can do this when you register to bid on AUCTION NINJA. Your profile name & address must match your resale certificate. AUCTION NINJA will keep this information on file for future auctions. 


ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS
While we will do our best to list any damage, repairs or restoration, the absence of these descriptions / conditions does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Most of our items are vintage, antique and/or pre-owned. You should expect signs of wear consistent with age, repairs, damages and alterations. The final judgement is ultimately up to the BIDDER. We will always share our best opinion as to what we think things are but please do your own research as well. Questions are ALWAYS encouraged before bidding!

PHOTOS are an integral part of the description. We provide multiple photos and measurements along with other pertinent information. Please take the time to examine and review everything. Again, please ASK QUESTIONS prior to bidding if you need further details!

UNCLAIMED ITEMS will be FORFEITED. NO refunds will be issued and you are at risk of losing your bidding privileges. We understand that emergencies come up and will do our best to work within our means. This is not a guarantee nor should it be an expectation. This includes shipping not setup within the 72 hour timeframe. If you do not text the Auction Manager within 72 hours of auctions end, you will forfeiture your items and not receive a refund.
