Frank Strnd was intimately associated with aviation for more than half a century. A well-respected Historian, his writings on the subject have been published internationally, and he is a consultant to authors, artists, and museums. The restoration of Lindbergh's "Jenny" was initially located by him, and he was an integral part of the restoration. He was a pilot, an aviation photographer, and an ardent collector of aviation memorabilia specializing in Long Island. Republic Aviation also employed him for 31 years.
