There is a selection of furniture which includes a bedroom suite, pie safe, painted small dresser, commodes, child-sized Victorian dresser and beautifully carved table with griffins.
The furniture in the dining room was given to a family member of our client and came from the Porter estate. Peter A. Porter Jr. (October 10, 1853 – December 15, 1925) was a U.S. Representative from New York and was one of Niagara's first native poets. He was the son of Colonel Peter A. Porter, a Civil War hero who died in the bloody Battle of Cold Harbor, grandson of Peter Buell Porter (a significant figure in the early development of Western New York who served as a businessman, politician, and military leader during the War of 1812). There is a show-stopper of an antique oak sideboard with shelf/mirror (shown in separate photo), oak table and chairs and an oak two drawer side table.
The lady of the house had a passion for fashion and we have an entire room that will delight the savvy shopper. Her favorite by far was Talbots followed by J Crew, Loft and Banana Republic. Everything is gently used or new with tags (size small and extra small). Her shoes are top notch as well and include Talbots, J Crew, Tretorn, Tory Burch, Hunter and Frye (size 6, 6 1/2 and 7). Your new outfits can be accessorized with scarves, handbags (Michael Kors, Coach, Talbots, J Crew, Madewell), watches (Michael Kors, Brighton, Silpada) and costume jewelry galore with a significant amount of statement pieces from J Crew.
There is a nice selection of Kitchenwares, small appliances, books (including antiquarian), tools, holiday decor, florals, camping gear, tech and stereo equipment, throw pillows galore and general household. Lots to discover in the garage, basement and attic!
